My room was half way cleaned. There was also an infestation of baby ants in my bathroom when I told staff about the infestation they said that they would have it rectified with maintenance but nothing was done.

I checked in around 9pm. Just in time to pay a resort fee for the day despite nothing being open. My status gave me an upgraded room and some credit at the place. I got neither. They gave my room to someone else and said I’d need to move the next day to get the one I booked. So I was sent on the longest walk I’ve ever taken through uphill corridors that would be a serious problem for anyone who cared about ADA laws. Oh that’s me. Permanent handicap placard since 30. Which I didn’t need since there was none. 15 minutes to get to my room that was in an outdated tower featuring.. nothing. The space where an ice machine would go? Who needs it? Just scrape it off the pavement when you walk by the shortcut to pool… if the unlit stairs don’t have it. Again, not an option. But hey, you can take a 20 minute walk to the lot and then walk the 3 blocks to the building with the pool and spa. Finally. A chance to wear my bathing suit and my parka and snow boots to cross the ice rink of a parking lot. Seriously the only place that truly needs to give people robes to wear definitely didn’t. I never even set foot in the place since it was too cold and the streets were solid ice. Absolutely not worth the danger. So, I paid $200 a night for a spa weekend at a place that isn’t anything close to a resort. Those tend to have services and amenities that people can use. A golf course isnt a resort. Or maybe it is. I have no idea. Never saw that either, my room faced parking.

Great get away.

Great place to get away and relax. I've been there several times.the staff is great the hotel is great. The breakfast buffet is good. I enjoy all the facility have. To offer enjoyed the bowling,swimming,hot tub and tge suna. Had a great time i will be back.

The pool, spa, gym, and bowling were located in a separate building If you or your family member wanted to use these, you have to go outside in the freezing cold Requested additional blankets as a draft was coming from the windows. No staff were available to bring them to the room The facility was clean but very run down-peeling wallpaper, rugs were well worn, some unraveling

I surprised hubby for his bday with a two night stay we enjoyed our stay.. although there were towels from the previous guest the hotel was prompt to accommodate and clean. Initially offering to switch our room to which we declined and were ok with them just tidying it up

Great place to stay if you want to stay outside the Chicago area. Close to shopping, restaurants, and other sight seeing destinations. The room was clean and the staff was very polite. The only drawback is the long walk from the room the lobby and/or pool. Highly recommend.

The fitness center with the pool, sauna and hot tub were in a separate building which was a good 100yrds away from the hotel itself😏 Very inconvenient! The fitness facility really needs to be updated/renovated. Its quite dated. Overall experience was decent but probably will not return.

This hotel was wonderful! I would definitely stay there again as I was there for a short trip this time around so I didn’t get to enjoy the amenities as much as I would’ve liked to. The area is great, and the staff was very pleasant.
