The service feels thoughtful and intuitive—from quick, smooth arrival, to clean, quiet spaces, complimentary parking and a modest price that included some complimentary upgrades. The manager and staff are very nice and helpful. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.

We wanted a quiet place to sleep and needed to leave early. Room was suitable with comfortable bed and bathroom. Did not have time to eat. On checkout an extra fee of $21.50 that is not advised in the online booking was deducted. When asked what it was for the check out person advised it was a fee for access to the "FREE" parking. They did not seem to realise how ironic that was. For this reason I would not recommend this hotel. A compulsory fee like this should be included in the room cost and not added later.

The golf course is amazing. The rest of the property is dated. That is not the worst part. The pool was so cloudy I almost hit a couple while trying to swim wearing googles. I did one lap and got out of the pool and I felt like a biofilm all over myskin. The hot tub was disgusting. It had a dark foam. I didn't dare to jump in there.

This was a great resort in Illinois! We only had to travel 38 minutes from Chicago and it definitely gave you resort feels. Great breakfast buffet, and the swimming pool Jacuzzi area was amazing. I am definitely coming back!
