I chose it for a family trip, party of 4 with our 8 lb dog. Luckily, we ended up being only 2 due to a change in plans, as we wouldn't have fit in the room comfortably. The room was advertised as a suite for up to 6 people. The room was clean but everywhere else was dirty. The hallways, the lobby and restaurant. It was impossible to get any room service as no one would answer the phone. The hotel is next to a self park garage which is great since there is no valet service. It is a great location.

Unfortunately there was a party in the room next door to me. I called security and they said they’d take care of it, but noise level did not fall enough to sleep. I tried to see if there was a bathroom fan for white noise, there wasn’t, or to turn on the heating cooling system to just blow air and this did not work either. I finally was able to sleep by putting a pillow over my head. Not ideal. While staff was friendly, I will not stay at this hotel again.

The service was the worst I have ever had! You literally couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone, answer the text that they send you. We love Hilton properties but this was is just plain awful!! Even my 4 child ages 11-4 commented on how terrible everything was. I’m so upset I wasted $$$ here.

Free breakfast in the mornings was amazing especially custom made omelets. Along with evening social with free snacks and drinks. The view was amazing, inside rooms could use upgrades. Couch bed was over used with sunken cushions that kept sliding off and couch mattress had stains. Bathroom was dusty.

One big issue is that the signal and Wifi services needs to be improved. I’m using AT&T, there’s always no signal in my toom. The Wifi is also unstable - I have to re-connect for many times, really annoying. Besides, the breakfast needs to be improved - the taste and variety sounds like a 3 star hotel not 4 stars. Breakfast tastes like the cafeteria in my college - very average.

Family Getaway
Quick family trip to Chicago to see a Broadway show. Hotel was within an easy walking distance to the theater, as well as many great restaurants. Rooms were spacious. Beds could always be a bit softer, but nothing is ever like home :) Evening was quiet, despite a very busy hotel. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The room was not clean, I have photos, and it smelled bad. Honestly, it smelled like someone died in it in the living room area (being in property management I have smelled this before so I can identify it.) Also, the breakfast was not very good. The eggs were wet and the hashbrowns were mushy.
