We loved everything about it. Storage space in the rooms could be better, but the staff was first-rate and so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best we have had in a chain hotel and the two servers were exceptional.

Missed a spot
I came to stay with my daughters for a weekend in Chicago. We came to stay at the Fairfield on Friday night, and were very pleased with our room, as it was clean and very comfortable and had an excellent view. However, after we got home from seeing a theater production downtown, I came back into the room and took off my shoes. I felt something stuck to the bottom of my sock as I walked across the room, and found that it was a clump of marijuana that somehow had not gotten picked up off of the hotel room floor. it smelled terrible and was an unfortunate thing to have to go through with my two daughters. I wish the room did not have that experience, because everything else about the hotel was great.
