The room was comfortable it had ac and heat. The pool was closed there was no notice ahead of time about that. My room key stopped working. Their breakfast that they were charging for is a complete waste it was not ready and it was coffee, cold cereal. When we checked the front desk had an attitude. There was no ice machine on any floor. The elevator was small.
No hot water, and they gave me the wrong room key. No one answers the phone. They advertise a shuttle, but it only runs if you request it and even then, it never showed up. I saw two different couples give up and call an Uber after waiting. I asked for two towels, and they told me they could only give me one. Stay anywhere else. You get what you pay for. There is a nice dive in bar next to it.
I reserved a room with king size bed, the front desk told me that my room is not available, he said that is only a rooms with 2 bed or queen size, I paid for king size bed room, the elevator are dirty and with cables coming out of the box by the bottoms panel
This place is extremely filthy, rotten, smelly
Restroom handles doors baseboards are all worn out.
Hair dryer is so cold and does not work properly. It is next to water and back of the hairdryer is partially open, which is extremely unsafe.
The whole properties lights were out. So we could not stay there. We had to book another hotel at 10pm. Desk manager was courteous, and promised to refund when the lights came back. But it’s been 10days and no refunds issued. Very disappointed by not delivering on the promises.

The room itself is clean and it’s a basic room. However, the customer service is the problem here. They first put me in a disabled room for no reason and the AC was so loud I didn’t sleep for one minute. I begged them to switch me rooms and they finally did then when I would ask them to clean my room they would forget and never come, no one was ever at reception, and they were not attentive. The pool had no water and the gym is garbage. It’s also a holiday inn.

There was no housekeeping service to my room, comforter was stain and sheets were dirty
This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The first room I was checked into reeked of tobacco, then I was moved to a second room. I asked 5 times from the moment I checked in at 4 pm to the last time at 11:30 pm for a rollout bed to be put into my room. The last time I asked, I was first told that there were no rollout beds available, then that housekeeping was closed so I couldn't have one in my room. After demanding a two bed room, I had to repack and move all of my things to a THIRD room on the first floor at midnight, only to find a lightbulb missing in a lamp, a mildew-smelling bathroom, and NO HOT WATER. The "complimentary breakfast" was also just prepackaged cereals and a bowl of half-rotted apples.
Where do I begin? First of all this is a Holiday Inn, not Grand Royal. No matter the owner should be ashamed of themselves for the condition this property is in. The room we were given had no soap, no remote control for the TV and the bathtub was gross. We were then offered to swap and we did. To an adequate room. But overall dirty carpets in whole place.
