I first checked in with my family and our suite with balcony was very unclean !!! The floors had candy Nerds all over it and visible crumbs everywhere … we were staying for 3 nites and sometimes things are overlooked ( I am not a Karen lol ) so simply went to guest services and asked it to be recleaned properly was informed it would be . After an hour we went back up and still wasn’t done at this point it was getting annoying so I went back and they said they were unsure when house keeping could get to it and they could instead move me so we opted for that ! Over the next several days we asked house keeping to please bring fresh towels and if our room could be quickly done every time it wasn’t …. I could go on and on about our stay but am not one to complain . But this is ridiculous and DEFF won’t be staying at a Great Wolf Lodge , they had record of the uncleanliness yet didn’t seem to care to maybe ensure things were done properly ! If I could recommend to anyone of your looking to have a clean enjoyable fun stay , just don’t do it at Great Wolf Lodgebin Gurnee Illinois

The rooms were nice and clean. Staff was polite and courteous. Water park was great! We went midweek for our sons Navy Bootcamp Graduation so it was not very packed. Clean areas around the hotel. Good selection of food in Gurnee. The town seemed safe and clean. Things i didn't like: shower handle broke twice but maintenance fixed it very fast. Our door kept sticking making a loud noice every time we opened it. There is no daily schedule for towel or trash replacement. However a quick call to the front desk and they send someone for that. The Dunkin burned the bagel we had ordered and since we were driving out there was no time to go back into the hotel for them to redo it. Pizza was good though. Parking is not great. We had a room in the back of the hotel so the best parking was the front of the hotel since there was no back parking and side entrances were not an option for where our room was located. Overall great staff, some things could've made the stay better but we had fun at the park. So overall good. Would definitely stay again but choose a room closer to parking/ entrance area for better access especially if carrying in items from shopping or food and drinks.

So-So expensive for what we got.

Staff was fine, check in was fine, I was disappointed our room smelled like cleaning products, the bathroom had a type of mold smell, it appeared clean but for $370 for one night I expected more. Additionally I was disappointed in the waterpark hours. With a 4 pm check in and 11 am checkout the waterpark does not open until 10:00 am and closes at 8:00 pm. I was disappointed the kids could not use the waterpark before we left. While you're allowed to use it after check out. We needed to head out and were disappointed it was unavailable in the morning.

Wow... what a difference. We stayed at GWL MN for a week before heading to this one and it was a total nightmare. The place was chaos, from the quality of the room to the staff to the pool. Everything was so bad. I was contemplating cancelling my reservation here and just going somewhere else but Im very glad I didnt. This location was a stark contrast from the MN location. It was CLEAN, the staff was very young but SO RESPECTFUL, accommodating and attentive. The water park was operated professionally and everything went above and beyond our expectations. If we ever decide to visit the GFL again, it will be the Gurnee location. Thanks for everything.

Awesome establilshment!!!!

Our stay was wonderful. The lodge smelled amazing, the staff was very friendly, and helpful. It was also very close to restaurants and Six Flags Great America, which was literally 4 minutes away. Overall we have amazing stay, and will definitely come back again!
