The hotel was good, it was under renovation. The staff was incredibly friendly and it was close to Six Flags Great America.

Definitely room for improvement

The hotel was under construction during our stay with no notification beforehand. Shortly after checking into our rooms a bloody napkin was discovered on the floor in plain sight and hair all over the bed. We were then moved to a second room which still had hair all over the bed. Our vehicle also had something poured all over it during the night.

Beds need updated. Pillows awful. Breakfast options were disappointing. Add some simple to-go options like oatmeal & refresh what is there more often.

I personally would never stay at this place again. They should have it list on line that they were under construction and gave us the opportunity to say we wanted to go there or not. They had construction going on there through out the whole hotel and they had many people working on the hotel til late nights. The food was ok but the lights went out in the room they was serving the food in because the dining room was under construction so some people could not eat hot food. it was unsafe for your kids because many men was working and I have girls 12 and 14 years old. it was hell for these two days not to mention we had hair in the bathroom around the toilet and in the corners on the floor of the bathroom tub was not clean and when you look out the window all you see is hotel furniture and and garbage and men working outside the hotel but the pool area was the greatest thing there but it was outside

I wish we knew they were under construction. We rode up to painters and workers and construction zone. I have to make sure that we get a room that doesn't smell like a pet pissed in the room. You can smell a pet in the room.

Originally it seemed like a decent place. Day two noticed bugs flying in the ceiling. Called down to the front desk no one answered. For two of my five day stay, there was a soccer team there. Literally lined up right in front of me and took all the food. The coach said something several times to them. Day two got up around 7 went down there, same thing no oatmeal. I Came back at 8 and 9 hoping there would be some made. I asked the cook at nine and she said she wasn’t making anymore. I’m saying all this to say… if there is a team maybe designate a time for them to get breakfast. Oh yeah, my room was never cleaned and I had to ask for my own towels.

Renovations was a good decision.

Currently under renovation, but the hallways smell mechanical. Breakfast was pretty much devoured by a soccer travel team by the time we got to breakfast. Beds were not very comfortable.

The hotel is great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. There is construction going on and they are painting the outside so it looks a little run down from the outside but once you are inside it is completely different. We had no issues with noise even though they are remodeling some areas. I would stay again if I come back to the area.

I love how convenient it was. I loved the free breakfast. The room was okay, but the walls were very thin so it made it hard to try to sleep because of the noise. I also found old receipts behind one of the chairs in the room so that made me realize that they do not clean that good. Overall, the breakfast and pool were my favorite part of my stay. I would recommend and stay here again.

The bed made clunky noises. There was no room to eat breakfast. The pool closes early and opens late. The parking was very limited due to construction. The one open treadmill was broken. The $50 fee was not what I expected and was not warned about in the reservation. The hair in my shower was not my favorite. The hallway was hot and smelly. The staff was courteous and helpful. The view was interesting of Six Flags. The temperature was comfortable and easily adjusted in the room. Check in was fast even with the line. The fitness room was small but full of equipment. The ice machine was great and the bottle filler was helpful. What we could get to for breakfast was tasty and hot. It wasn’t a bad stay, unfortunately we are just comparing it to our very recent stay at Hampton Inn in Kenosha and that was perfection; Sours it for other locations.
