Wonderfully serviceable for sound sleepers

I was taking a solo self-care trip to Chicago during Restaurant Week in early February. The location was great for all the River North restaurants and it was easy to take the bus to attractions in the Loop. The room was clean, and I was able to comfortably work remotely at the desk. However, the hotel is literally across the street from a fire station, and the boisterous gathering in the next room (young coworkers in town for a business conference?) on Thursday night was barely muffled through the adjoining door. The staff promptly addressed the issue when I called the front desk at 2:00am, but the room could’ve benefited from an investment in sound-related insulation.

Very close to public transportation, restaurants, and shops. We arrived around noon and were told we could check in early… for a fee of $25. We paid it because we were exhausted and it was 8 degrees outside. The breakfast was good for an included hotel breakfast. Staff was friendly. Smell of mj seemed to be everywhere.
