A Warm and Welcoming Stay in the Heart of Chicago
I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown Riverwalk and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city with easy access to top attractions. But what really stood out to me was the staff they were incredibly friendly, always greeting guests with warm smiles. Their welcoming attitude made me feel right at home, and they were always ready to assist with any requests. It’s rare to find a team that genuinely cares about their guests, and the staff here truly made a difference in my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chicago!

Hilton Garden Inn is at very good location, two blocks from the river. Room was clean, had to call Maintenance to clean and fix the A/C, as it was not heating. Still strange, as you have to set up the temperature manually. No HBO in the room, despite of the fact that staff said there should be. Snacks upon check in only. Request high floor, much better for Hilton members. Housekeeping was very good, front desk staff good, bartender - excellent. Breakfast dining team - we did not have breakfast included, but decided to have breakfast on the second day. We were met by very impolite waitress, who insisted that this is with charge. Ok, we know that, no attitude needed. Because of her behavior, we did not go for breakfast any more. There is an excellent cafe near by, French style. We did have breakfasts there. Overall, the stay was good and of course Chicago never disappoints. Magnificent city!

I was very surprised that you didn't have a pool/ hot tub. I thought most hotels did today. The front desk help was very helpful in giving me directions. My breakfast wasn't included.

The hotel was located at a very convenient location. You are right next to the river walk as well as 10 mins walk to Magnificent Mile, 15 to Millennium Park. Cannot complain with its location. It also felt safe. While you are not on the Main Street, I felt completely safe walking around after 8 pm. Staff were helpful and our room had a nice little view of the river and Marina Buildings.

Pd extra for st view but it was only a view accross the st of another bldg..(if u got close to window and looked down u could c the st and some other bldgs..advertised as restaurant and bar but really small restaurant in basement and bar upstairs..however the food was excellent and even though the bar was out of Prosecco for my favorite drink (and currently a very popular one..aperol spritz)butana the bartender was a hoot and lots of fun..bathroom tiles and shower lever need work..sheets and mattress excellent..

It’s a good hotel close to everything. But I didn’t like the system. Some people is includ the breackfast others isn’t. Mine was. All the other guest stay looking.. and every day is empty. A lot of food and nobody to eat. And the girl that work there is very rude. I saw a woman in a wheelchair going to take a banana and the girls said its 23 dolares. I think the breakfast should be for all. So next time I will go to Hampton inn. A lot of food a lot of people eating and everybody happy!!!

For the price we paid, it was very average and comparable to most other hotels we’ve stayed in along the way where we paid much less money. Nothing special, no breakfast, no parking, no parking discount and the fridge wasn’t working well, however, the location is very good to walk around and explore this fabulous city.
