We never stayed here before and selected the hotel because we wanted to go to the Field Museum. We somehow got room 2422, which felt like winning the lottery as it looked out toward Lake Michigan and the museum campus. The view of the sunrise was incredible. It was an easy walk to the museums. We ate at the attached restaurant, which was good. The hotel's valet service was quick and friendly.

I loved how my corner room looked, and the views were amazing! When I got to the hotel, the staff were very helpful I was able to check in early. Everything was clean from the lobby to the room. the only thing that I did not like was that I did hear my next-door neighbor from the bathroom vents the first day. Other than that, everything was perfect! and walkable to certain stores and dining options. I will be planning on staying here again.

Fairly new hotel but the rooms have already been pretty beat up. I stay at hotels every week in Chicago for work and this was the first hotel that refused to do a room "refresh" on a two night stay. I was pretty shocked that they would not do this. Literally the first hotel I have ever had this experience at. The Asian restaurant connected is very disappointing and expensive. Would NOT stay here again.

It was walkable to the Shedd Aquarium, museums and park otherwise we would have chosen somewhere less expensive. I don't believe it was a monetary value to stay there generally speaking.

The only thing I did not understand, although it's nor very important of course, why 6$ were deducted from 300$ deposit. (I guess this is the price of 2 bottles of water in the room) and for such a hotel it's ridiculous as in most hotels water is free. Property was good and safe, had a nice view from room. There were some minor issues in the room but they were solved. In addition, free coffee and tea is offered near the reception, however the water was not hot enough. I would suggest this hotel for my friends and colleagues.

Good pet friendly experience

This was a good hotel in a great area. We picked it so we could walk to our daily activities and in worked out great. We have two big dogs that have never experienced a busy city like Chicago and they did great. The pet friendly policy is real at Hilton. I only have one complaint about the room but it wasn’t a big deal. The bathroom has a sliding door that wouldn’t close all the way. Not very private but my dogs noticed and would fill the gap with their snoots.

This hotel was beautiful!! It was so clean and spacious. The layout was very modern and offered a ton of storage space. Coming from a really small midwestern town, Chicago is very intimidating. The Valet gentlemen were so kind and helpful. We didn't explore or do anything in our general area so I can't comment on that. If we were going to the Shedd Aquarium or Field Museum, we definitely would have walked. My kids also loved the pool, and I loved all the windows at the pool for a nice view! Highly recommend this hotel!

The staff here is a joke. I was double charged.

The front desk staff were very unorganized and super rude. They didn't know how to use their credit card machines, and ended up charging me twice for my stay. When I brought it to their attention, they told me it was my problem and asked me to call my bank. I put my bank on the phone with them - and they told Hilton that they charged me twice, and the staff still did NOTHING to help. I paid twice for my "discounted" stay here. Also, the staff is too busy mumbling under their breath about the customers to finish helping the people in line. I will never stay here again.
