We stayed here for 3 nigths, not pur first time in Chicago but this time we wanted something out side the city. Nothing super fancy but ok, comfortable beds, quite time its at 10pm before that expect to hear their lound washer, people outside talking loud and some smoking or drinking at the parking lot. -we were so dissapointed about the pool been out of order; they should updated at their site. -staff is friendly. Prices are ok. Will stay here again if needed.

Good average hotel but the rooms are a little dirty and smells like cigarettes. Carpet was kinda dirty too. Bedding was comfy, everything was working in a room. I would recommend for that price..

Misleading and Poor Communication

As a competitive tri-athlete in season, I booked this hotel specifically because of the highlights listed of the pool and fitness center so that I could keep training. The website and confirmation email both toted amazing facilities, but when I went to find the fitness center during my stay, I was informed that both are out of service and was not offered reconciliation of the issue. Zero communication or notice. The hotel breakfast was a bowl of take-away apples or apple juice or yogurt, despite saying breakfast included. Extremely misleading and unacceptable.

The advertisement for the hotel stated it had a pool, breakfast made to order, gym, etc. There was none of that. The only reason I choose the hotel was because of the advertising and it turned out to be a lie.

Poor communication

I enjoyed my stay however I left my battery operated toothbrush in the room. I called and spoke to housekeeping who said they would call me back. I never heard back. I called again hoping I could pick it up before I left the Chicago area and left a message and again never heard back. Now 6 days later no phone call telling me if they found my toothbrush or not. Before the trip I also messaged the hotel two different questions and never received a reply. So communication is poor.
