Loved the location! It sits right off of the Magnificent Mile, so walking to where ever you want, is totally doable. Beds were very comfortable and clean. No fridge or microwave, but has kerig coffee pods. Our room was smaller than the norm, so 4 gals sharing the room, was interesting to say the least. Having a hot breakfast, not continental, to start the day is always a plus! Overall, I would recommend this Hotel for a visit to Chicago!!

This was our first time staying in Chicago and would definitely stay here again! We loved the character and history throughout the building and how well it is maintained. We were able to check in early which was amazing since we had flown in first thing in the morning. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Our fridge had a broken plug, we didn’t need to use it anyways and let the staff know at check out. The breakfast included was great - the usual hotel breakfast spread. Only issue was finding a place to sit when it was busy. The location was such a plus. so close to L stations and bus stops and so close to tons of restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel!!!!!

Best Holiday Inn Express experience. Hotel and everything about it was perfect. Including breakfast. We walked to a restaurant at 9:00 pm with no problem. Trader Joe’s right across the street.

I will change my review if I am refunded for the 2 rooms on 2 nights because of hurricane Debbie. Tiny rooms, very loud, elevators that cant fit more than 4 people and are used up by maids and extremely low toilets.

We were ignored after being told the room would not be ready at 3. I was told exactly at 3 we would be in a room, didnt get into out room until nearly 3:40. We were given room temp water to wait with while everyone else had cold water and not once assisted with our bags. Hair was left in the hair dryer. Just in general not clean. bad bad for what I paid. Still waiting on my 'deposit' to be redunded. Which no one made mention of when I called ahead 3 times. Night time check out gentlemen was the only person who gave any assistance. Wish I had his name.
