Room was large, updated, and clean, and the location was great for me - a short easy drive back to O’Hare. But, -I did need the iron and it was broken, would not heat up at all. -I went to make coffee in the morning and found three decaf coffee pods but no regular coffee. -As I was getting ready at the bathroom counter, the overhead light suddenly went out, bulb died apparently. Did not leave me with a good impression of careful maintenance, and since I had to leave very early in the morning there was no one available at the front desk to notify about the issues I encountered. I would probably give it another chance because of the hotel overall. Lobby seemed very nice with work tables and seating, check-in staff was pleasant and efficient, and the free parking and free breakfast are great amenities.

Our Room was ok. The bathroom was dirty, and we never the cleaning lady never picked up our dirty coffee cups or refilled our machine with coffee. Poorly managed. Our bathroom did not have towels also, had to ask for them while she was in another room. The floors near the elevator were filthy around 7:30PM when we checked in. Somone split a red drink, very sweet, it was sticky and not picked up until the following day. We settled in and went back down to get out to dinner, when we came back it still had not been cleaned up after midnight. I reported to the front desk clerk, he did nothing. The food would be best not to do the eggs, sausage or cheese omelets. The quality is not the highest. I recommend the bagels, toast, yogurt and fresh fruit. Keep it to a continental breakfast. Coffee was great in the lobby.

We were in Chicago for a couple of weeks and after closing on my condo, we decide to stay at a hotel for a few days and this hotel was very clean. Very nice. It felt like a five star hotel. They had breakfast every morning very nice and hot and the place was very clean with coffee 24 hours. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone!

A Fine Place to Stay

The hotel was well-located for my purposes and parking was easy. Everything was fine, with my only complaint being that the breakfasts were not always well-stocked. I was wowed by the nearby Leaning Tower of Niles...not to be missed! I would stay there again.

It's unkept. Our shower dripped the entire time. Holiday Inn Express is the only property I have ever stayed in and had to kill a bug or two at two different locations. Cleaning staff never really cleaned the room. Didn't empty the garbage. Basically just changed the towels, if those were even truly changed. Needless to say, this will be our last time staying at a Holiday Inn Express.

It was very late in the evening and cold although I'm slightly mobility challenged I did state that thank you to the entire staff at the location for the upgraded suite the assist handles in the shower really did help out the modern art within the room was very good I thought that it accented the carpet in several different things made me think about being on the move and on the go and staying focused on my journey and the reason for being where I was thank you again for the upgrade to the suite at no extra charge and the late night check-in must have been around 11:30 or midnight or something thank you again to the entire staff and yes I thought the modern art found within the room and extremely good taste
