Overall property was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The staff was very attentive about keeping the breakfast area stocked and clean. The room needed some care. Our lampshades were burnt and melted which didn't make us feel great. Another wall lamp looked like it was falling off the wall. Beyond these things, the room was comfortable.

The beds were comfortable. Along with how quiet it was. We wished there was a hot tub and a pool. We felt safe and comfortable for being in Chicago especially with the police department across the street.

Usually great, this time a few minor issues.
This was our third time in 2 months (visiting our child in college). The first 2 visits, we've had no issues. This time, we were a little disappointed in the room. The carpet had stains, and the shower door was misaligned and it was hard to open and close it. Also, we had to make sure to push hard on the door to make sure it latched, as it didn't close all the way on it's own. Otherwise, no big red flags and we would definitely stay here again in the future!

I was unable to keep my reservation due to work circumstances. I was expecting to be charged for the reservation but I was unable to ever get a receipt from the hotel to turn into work for reimbursement. Every time I would call the phone number on website I got no answer. Sent a message to property through Expedia and never heard back. Terrible customer service at this hotel.

I was told the rooms weren’t ready but was seeing other people getting rooms when I had a reservation. They had a problem I went through Expedia. I paid for a king suite and got double beds after I showed them my receipt. Never again
