Wouldn’t come back

The front desk group was gossiping about workers when I got there. The women that give my my room key had a nasty attitude The morning of check out, front desk knocked loudly on my door at 8am, 9:45am and 10:55am. So obnoxious and disturbing. If my checkout was at 11am why did they feel the need to be annoying. Don’t recommend anyone staying here

Needs a refurb asap

Unfortunately we didn't have a very good stay at the Sonesta due to the outside noise of the trains, roads and planes. Can only think the windows aren't very effective at keeping out the noise. Room was large but very shabby, carpets filthy with stains in places, we had to call room service to come and vacuum up the crumbs from the previous guests. Very small old bath with overhead shower with a horrendous shower curtain, ended up with water all over the floor. Had to mend the pop up plug ourselves in order to have a bath and the basin took forever to drain. Reception staff very friendly but the room was so bad we definitely won't be using this hotel again.

The hotel is kind of odd in that there is no real lobby. But the rooms are nice enough, it is close to Ohare and there is a Harry Carey's restaurant attached which is nice and convenient.
