I drove from Boston to Chicago with my service dog for a surgery & clinical trial immunotherapy to treat his cancer in his front leg. I called ahead to let the hotel know we’d be arriving late & needed a room by the elevator so he didn’t have to walk. When we checked in at 12:30am, they gave me a room at the very end of the hall. I called down to let them know it was fine for the night, but we’d need to switch tomorrow. When I started getting ready for bed, I found the sink so be filled with hair. Then I went to get into bed and there were 5 or 6 different hairs in the very clearly slept on sheets (wrinkled and sweat stained) in the MADE bed. I was furious. I called down to the desk to ask for an immediate switch. They told me the system was down and they had no clue which rooms were available. They also told me housekeeping was gone and they’d try to find new sheets. After several minutes, the front desk manager appeared with a stack of sheets and attempted to hand them to ME to change. I told him that was completely out of line to require a guest to change the dirty bedding of a prior guest. He tried to negotiate and say he would change the dirty ones if I made the bed. I refused. He then had me and my limping dog exit the room to wait in the hall for 15 mins while he “made the bed.” When we re-entered, I found that he left me with a mattress protector, no fitted sheet, a flat sheet, no duvet cover, and the same pillow cases from before. My experience coincides 100% with the info provided by both the hotel and Expedia. There were no hidden fees or surprises during check-in and checkout. This is a very convenient location for an early flight. The rooms are well appointed though dated but still very accommodating and comfortable. Good water pressure and hot water. Noise can be a bit of an issue on the side facing the airport but I still slept enough.

If you’re looking for an immaculate, yet pet friendly stay, this is the hotel for you. The restaurant/bar was delicious and the staff was super welcoming and professional. The room was really nice and the beds were big, comfy and most of all CLEAN!

Towels were not in the room when we arrived, the old sheets were not pulled off the pull out bed and they had to change our room because a “dog urinated” on the carpet. The keys didn’t work to get the elevator to work. The air conditioner did not keep the room cool and the carpet was stained in the room. I would not recommend this hotel.
