I have mixed feelings about my stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton. I will share the good and bad: The Good: * My check in experience was just amazing. A nice lady named Shyvon greeted me and checked me in earlier (1:45pm when check in time is 4pm). * The room was really great and clean and everything worked perfectly. The entertainment system, the bathroom, the kitchen, etc. Everything was really great. The bed was so comfortable. * Whenever I ran out of coffee pods, all I had to do was call reception and within minutes someone was up with extras. The Bad: * The room was not serviced or cleaned the entire time I was there. When I called on the 2nd day, they said that they clean the rooms every two days. That’s fine with me. But then it still wasn’t cleaned on the 3rd day. And when I called front desk to mention that, there was no action taken let alone any acknowledgment or apology. * The breakfast was pretty ok. I’m not a big complainer about food quality. What I found dismal is that every thing was single use plastics! The plates, utensils, cups, everything. In this day and age in 2024, a brand like Hilton not offering metal utensils and ceramic plates while claiming to care for the environment … I was shocked and didn’t have breakfast on the 3rd day to not support this. It felt so cheap. Even the cheapest all inclusive resorts don’t do that. * They charge for early check in before 2Pm Overall though I would recommend this hotel.

Myself, my husband, and our teenage son stayed here for a weekend trip. The location is phenomenal! We walked almost every place we wanted to go, or took an Uber/taxi when our feet got too tired (ex: ~$20 from hotel to Navy Pier, which is just over 2 miles). The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, the included breakfast was really great, and the room had any amenities we needed. The only slightly inconvenient things we noticed: a little mold in the shower at the caulk line, a drip in the shower that kept hitting the metal drain, the ceiling fan was a little noisy, and the pillows weren't the best. Honestly, nothing that would stop us from staying here again.

Wonderful property. Clean, safe and perfect for our family of 5. Easy walk to some attractions … we even walked to 45 minutes to Navy Pier with relative ease. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. A later breakfast option (until 10, rather than 9) would have made for a less busy breakfast rush. Valet parking is costly, but other local options are available (check Spot Hero). All in all, would stay again and recommend to others.

Room over booked
Room was overbooked. Came in for a concert and didnt check in until about 1 am only to find out i didnt have a room. They did comp me a room at another hotel, an hour away... by the time i got to the other hotel and in, it was after 3. The person at the original hotel was going to try and do something to help with the 2 remaining nights i had planned on staying, but had to wait until after 11 the next day (had to check out by noon at the new hotel). The original hotel had extra rooms open up aparently between 1 and 11 (of course at a higher rate) that i was able to book. But this completely messed over a full day of my trip. Valet was rude, literally laughed in my face regarding the vehicle (an old truck), hands on knees laughed and shook his head. May be a one off situation but i will not be staying at this hotel in the future. Hotel (excluding staff) was nice enough

Great potential. Never Again.
Tried 4 times to get the TV fixed. Only sound no picture. Needed to unplug and reboot every time. NO one would help. Front desk said just reboot. Waited over hour for engineer never showed up. House keeping every other day, no problem, no one told us until we spoke to manager.
