The first room that we were in, we spent one night and then we had a knock on the door from maintenance that says there’s a leak. He came in, went into the closet and literally drilled a hole in the floor. I had to ask the management to move us to a different room because they weren’t planning on doing that. In both rooms, the carpet was stained and old. It was not the fine hotel that I spent over $200 expecting more very disappointed.

Very happy with our stay

The hotel is in a great location, we could walk to everything. Our room had great views of the lake and was spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Has a good breakfast.

Perfect location, walked to Soldier Field for a concert, walked to museums. Hopped on the train around the corner to go North. All hotel employees were so friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again!

The staff was beyond exceptional. They allowed us to check in early, check out late. The staff that ran the breakfast did their best to accommodate my children. I very much appreciated the kind gestures and will definitely stay there again.

This property was the perfect location to serve as home base for our Chicago family vacation. It is clean, secure, and had all the things we needed when we weren't out and about. It is close to bus stops and a train station, and is easy walking distance to the museum campus. I don't think we could have found a more suitable hotel for our needs.

Hotel location is good but the quality of quilts and Pillows are not good as per Hilton Standards. They do cleaning every which I personally don’t like. Breakfast is also like 3 Stars hotel standards not like Hilton.

We had a fantastic stay at this Homewood Suites location! Traveling as a family of three with a baby can be stressful, but this hotel made it so easy for us. We were greeted by super friendly staff (Jason), and we were able to get early check-in and late check-out (which I understand is subject to availability). The room was spacious enough to unfold a pack and play, along with all of our belongings and a stroller. Everything was clean and cared for, including the well-stocked kitchen. They offered a wide variety of hot and cold options for breakfast and we definitely felt that this made our stay. It was so nice not to have to hunt down food in the morning. We were also there for the Wednesday night evening reception, which we found to have a large variety of fresh food as well! We also appreciated that there were highchairs available in the dining area. In terms of the location, this hotel was very walkable- we took the train in and were able to walk to and from the train station. It was also a short walk to the aquarium/museum campus area, as well as Soldier Field. We loved that it was a bit quieter in the South Loop than near the Magnificent Mile or River North areas. There were still lots of coffee shops, restaurants, and a grocery store nearby, none of which were crowded. We would definitely choose to stay here again if traveling to Chicago as a family!
