Loved the hotel, the only negative thing I have to say is that I found it to be odd that there is no trash bags used in the trash cans in the rooms. Also, the bathroom has no vent for exhaust fan. Other than that, everything else was excellent, very clean facility, great breakfast selection.

Review for RIU Plaza Chicago Our stay at RIU Plaza Chicago was deeply disappointing due to repeated and alarming breaches of guest privacy and safety. Over the course of one night, hotel staff entered our room multiple times without knocking or authorization, including once while we were asleep and again just before checkout. We had already reported a broken thermostat and were told maintenance would not return until after checkout since we requested privacy, yet staff continued to enter. The experience left us feeling unsafe and violated. Even after reporting the issue to management before leaving, the situation was handled without urgency or accountability. I hope the hotel takes guest security and privacy more seriously in the future, as this kind of disregard is unacceptable in any hospitality setting.

Staying at the Riu Plaza was a great experience. Once I stepped out of my vehicle, I was helped with my bags without asking. The doors were opened, and I was greeted by all the staff with friendly smiles and hello’s. This was a 10 out of 10 type of experience for my wife and myself and we would definitely consider booking with you guys again.

Loved my stay here. Everything was top notch from the time I entered the lobby. The staff was welcoming and enthusiastic about you choosing to patronize their hotel. The check-in process was quick. The hotel’s rooms were very clean and had the latest amenities. Televisions had numerous channel options. The roof top bar was amazing for photo ops. It’s also in a very good location for site seeing & shopping.
