Amazing stay!!

My Sister and I have DEFINITELY placed Hyatt House Chicago/Medical District on the top of our Chicago places to stay!!! Everything from the room layout to the staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We had to come to Chicago to be with our dad who is hospitalized at Cook County/John Stroger’s hospital, so we searched for places near. Hyatt House is literally across the parking lot from the hospital, so location wise was perfect. We entered our room which was VERY clean and spacious for two. There was plenty of storage space and a small kitchen area that included a sink and stove top. We are a little germ cautious so we usually bring our own cleaning supplies. We didn’t need to use them (we still ran a bleach wipe on the knob’s and toilet for peace of mind), this room was very clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They showed us how to get to the hospital, and when we came back they were very caring about how our visit went. The restaurant and bar on the 2nd floor are nice additions. You don’t have to just sit in your room if you don’t want to leave out. D.J you were one of our favorite parts of our stay if not our favorite part!!! He greeted us every time he saw us, he was attentive and helpful. We simply mentioned towels and he had them ready for us when we returned. He asked about our father’s health and his concern for our current mind state every time and it truly felt genuine. We are truly grateful for you and hope to see you out next stay!!

Very Nice Stay

Great location near the interstate, train station, and United Center. Convenient parking at the hotel ($30 a night). Good breakfast friendly staff.

staff is friendly, close to hospitals and restaurants. extremely quiet and clean. love the high ceilings in the rooms and the building itself is beautiful. breakfast time is not long enough, very limited but, it is a nice buffet. the in house restaurant is very limited on its menu also.
