Wow. The history of this place is just unmatched. Our grandmother passed away at 17 years old in this hospital. The staff was incredible with my questions. Superior room and breakfast.

Convenient location, beds and pillows very comfortable. Staff was very nice (dependent upon who was working- one gentleman working the front desk clearly did not like his job). However, noise was an issue and we could hear people in the halls and next to us so it disrupted our sleep somewhat.

Stay by united cemter

Close to United Center. Parking was sold out but they had us parking in the hospital parking lot a short walk from hotel and it was only $5 nice family area and bar. Will make this our go to hotel for anything at the united center.

This property got good reviews per se and I think it’s overrated. Rooms. Minimalistic bit slot of lighting. I had a light without a bulb in it and got it fixed today. Was told in passing that the type of bulbs are Aparently hard to get so they don’t have enough and took a bulb from another room. There is no housekeeping unless you call. Found a letter on day 2 as nobody told me when checked in. No problem…took me a day though as nobody answered the phone on Friday day and evening. Fridge is a nice touch. Because no housekeeping shampoo dispensers not getting refilled. Cannot check out on TV. The bar area is a nice area for gathering. Menu is limited. Bartender Thur/Fri/Sat was great. Sunday so so. Really disappointed with the last call process. Basically shut off lights and kick everybody out tonight. It wasn’t the bartender rather the custodial engineer. Big group last night and really left a sour taste

Nice property overall. Some small things that did not seem yo to Hyatt standards… only 1 coffee cup in room… asked for another and some extra coffee which never arrived. 2 of the 3 dispensers in shower were empty. Breakfast was good but a shame to see so many disposable items in use still.

Pros and cons

Great location for United Center and very clean/modern. However, the walls are paper thin. We couldn't sleep due to music and even talking in the room next to us. I let the front desk know and they just said, "they had heard that before".
