The rooms are a bit dated it but worked for what we needed. Just a clean place to sleep after we went out and about in the city. Just a quick walk to the magnificent mile!

Loved it! Stayed here with friends for a Christmas trip and it was amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and the hotel was a good walking distance to plenty of shopping and restaurants & the train. Would definitely recommend and stay here again! Thank you!

we checked in 10minutes before 3pm, as what our confirmation says, but when we reach the front desk, she says that starting Dec 1, check in time is 4pm, I showed her my Expedia confirmation but she didn’t even look at it, reiterating that check in time is 4pm. Frustrated and tired we decided to wait for 4pm at the lobby, since it’s raining outside. As we are waiting there, we saw some guests that front desks are allowing to check in, so we saw a different staff named Jessie, we tried to tell her the same thing and she helped us. We are thankful that she is so accommodating. Thanks so much to Jessie. I think management should address this issue because I haven’t received any message saying check in time is 4pm.

Check in personnel were very friendly… accommodating for early check in ( for a small fee) . We reported a minor problem with the bathroom door and it was fixed within less than an hour. Breakfast was good - nice selection of food. Very convenient location to many attractions. Valet service was great as well.

HORIBLE STAY NO CLIMATE CONTROLE RUDE STAFF
Room did NOT allow to low Temp AT ALL and was stuck at 73 degree F. When I brought this up to staff after seeing that there was no way to open the window to Let any air in they told me that the AC was off in the building and that the windows did not open for insurance purposes... and gave me a Box fan. However with the room layout there is nowhere to put the box fan that would reach the bed in any meaningful way... The Room fan or AC and heat only blew hot NO MATTER WHAT... The Room was so incredibly dry it caused a noise bleed. I understand this was in downtown and its an older building but when I made my choice to go with Hyatt Vs the 100 of other options I picked Hyatt as they have always been clean and Confront and service have always been what I have come to know as reliably good. NOT THE CASE AT THIS HYATT.. barley got any sleep and woke up Many Times sweating thought the top sheets. Would not have wished this stay on my worst enemy much less a paying customer...
