Overall everything was great! However there are a few main design flaws with the room including no exhaust fan in the bathroom and only one light circuit for the main room so you couldn’t turn on any light besides all of them at once in the bed area, there was a separate one for the couch area but that was it. Also the blasting heat and fragrance upon entering the building was a bit suffocating, and I was disappointed that the rooftop was closed.

Very nice hotel. The lobby area is a little small but still nicely decorated. The rooms are good size. The only thing we did not like was the door into the bathroom was not a solid door.

Generally had a good stay. Location is perfect, and the units are exceptional. Large bathroom, large bedroom, and very large living room. Will definitely stay again. Biggest issue we had though was when we arrived, they didn't have our reservation. Somehow, something on expedia or the ivy hotel's end didn't connect, so when we arrived they didnt have us in the system. So we ended up getting a lesser room than we booked for the first night, and then had to move to our correct room the second night. Gentleman at the desk upon arrival was able to fix things thank goodness, and with a couple of apologies on his end, no one else reached out to apologize, woudl have expected a bit of a follow up given the massive inconvenience. As far as hotel goes, location is perfect, close to Mag Mile, rooms are great as mentioned, could use an ice machine though, we had to keep going down to the front desk with the tiny ice bucket to get ice. Oh, and they have a small bar there, but most of the time it wasnt open, never saw a soul in it, and the occasional times we saw an employee they were just sitting off to the side scrolling through their phone. They may as well not have a bar and use that space for something more useful. Despite the issues, would stay again, rooms were great, location was great.
