Great hotel

Hotel is in great location, the room was kinda small but really nice. I slept so well - bed and pillows were awesome. The shower has incredible pressure - good for a massage on sore muscles, and it can be adjusted with the lever on the shower head. My only complaint is the bathroom sink. The faucet is too low and it's challenging to wash your hands. I'd stay here again though.

Our staff was nice. We did get accommodated for early check in at no charge we experienced some issue with the WiFi not working and us needing to work from the hotel so we were forced to go in. However we did like our room, and the services like housekeeping were phenomenal st cleaning daily and restocking. One thing that was negative was they charge a $100 incidental fee per day (refundable) so I had to pay $400 up front which was not in the description when booking the hotel so heads up on that if you do book here.

Superb location, close to all the things you need to see, the hotel was clean and quiet and just enough space. The doormen and staff were very friendly and polite. The front desk rep, Dru surprised my guy with champagne and cake for his birthday!! We will definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff gave us complimentary Champaign and cheesecake. The room was lovely and the location is great. We were able to walk to various bars and restaurants as well as the river walk. My only complaint is we were told we had a $10 daily credit to use, but it only applied to the bar, not the restaurant. We thought it was for either and sat in the restaurant to order drinks because the bar was full of people, and did not receive our $10 off.

Art Deco in the Heart of Downtown

The hotel is really lovely and designed in an art deco style. The rooms were very clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms are on the small side with a tiny pocket closet, so we upgraded to a suite, and it was worth it. The hotel is right next to the Palace Theatre, so you will see lots of show-goers. There are a few walkable eateries in the area, and it's only a short walk to the river and the Magnificent Mile. We came here for work, but stayed for pleasure. It was a good downtown option.

It’s an older hotel with some charm the cold eucalyptus towel in the gym was the best part of my stay. It is close to restaurants shopping and theaters. The AC work but not super cold

Good Location, Rooms Too Small.

The standard rooms are simply too small. No room for even one decent chair, laughable “closet”, can’t stand at the sink without the back of your legs against the toilet. Dirtiest windows, (window) I’ve seen in years. Dark ground floor, (lobby is on 2nd floor), with adjacent pool table room with large ground floor street view window, I guess to project a trendy effect, instead imparts a bit of seediness in this context, and the players don’t look like guests, with apologies to how this may sound - just saying. Lobby and bar are nice, and good cocktails. Didn’t have a chance to try the food but my hunch is that it’s good. Location is very good - entertainment district, Millennium Park, etc.
