I feel like I lucked out in terms of finding an exceptional property that provides high-end accommodations but does so at a reasonable cost, especially compared to others in the same area. This place has been completely renovated and modernized, and the pictures do not do it justice. Extremely spacious rooms with very tall ceilings. The windows appear small in the pictures, but are actually quite large, and the innovative window seats are extremely cozy and innovative. Beautiful, spacious bathroom. Everything was super clean, and the staff went above and beyond to provide top notch service. They also went out of their way to greet me every time I walked into the hotel, and I found their positive energy to differentiate my experience. I want to also acknowledge the restaurant and bar. They run a very nice HH special on oysters (if you like that sort of thing) and bottles of wine, they have delicious food, and again, the service is impeccable. The location of the hotel is amazing (5 minute walk to the most popular architecture boat tour), and I felt extremely safe. I will absolutely stay here again next time I am in Chicago.

View was not what they said we got to stare at a brick wall no view at all. Very loud housekeeping would be slamming doors starting at 6;30am they would knock on your door and wake you up even with the do not disturb sign on. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

This hotel was incredible! It's in a prime location near top attractions and public transit, so it's super easy for exploring Chicago. My room was perfect - I don't have a single complaint. The AC was cold, the shower was warm, and the bed was super comfy. The room has a hip modern design with nice furniture. I stayed on the 14th floor with a beautiful river view and despite construction outside and the L train nearby, it was surprisingly quiet and I slept great every night. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Overall this was a fantastic hotel stay and I'll definitely book at L7 again on my next trip to Chicago.

Excellent location for walking Miracle or Magnificent Miles. As with the rest of Chicago, felt a bit uneasy walking the streets at night, as there was an altercation at the 7-11 across the street. Sirens are a very common, as the City has a real problem with crime. Fortunately, we were gone when the Labor Day shootings occurred.

I had a wonderful stay at L7 in Chicago. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the riverfront, Millennium Park, great shopping, and easy access to the train. The only downfall was that I had to look at the Trump Tower, but it was sadly a landmark to find the hotel, and of course, not the hotel's fault. Loved that it was so close to the Riverfront and close to Michigan Street, where we caught the rivertaxi to Chinatown (highly recommend) and made for easy walking to different parts of the city. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel itself has an artsy, modern vibe and was spotless throughout. I especially appreciated the 24/7 coffee service, which was such a nice touch. My room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a full day of exploring the city. Overall, a fantastic stay—I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago.

GREAT location to walk to most of Chicago's fun downtown activities. We did Riverwalk, Millennium Park and Navy Pier. Only used Uber once to get to Wrigley field to catch the Cubs game. Highly recommend!
