Very nice hotel, service was excellent and so was the room . Very comfortable and clean. Ordered food from restaurant, it was delivered promptly and hot, it was delicious, but pricey. The location was perfect to where I needed to go, and a lot of things to do; too bad I didn’t have the time.

Awesome hotel in great location. Love the configuration with an indoor balcony couch. Sat in the cove way hung the action outside. A unique and inviting hotel with lots of perks and friendly staff. Totally going back and have already recommended to others. A+

We had a Queen room with a view of the river. The room was decently sized, but honestly, for what I paid I would've expected that the shower be more up to date. The bathroom was plenty big with a nice sink and mirror. The shower, however, looked to be where they pretty much stopped with any attempt at renovation or modernization. Just the basic old tub/shower combo with shower curtain and shower head that hardly puts out any water at all. Not a bad place by any means, just expected a little more.

We were put in a room on the 2nd floor that looked out onto 7-11. In place of a nice seating area that most rooms have, they had an elevated platform to block the view of the people walking by and the 7-11 storefront. Plus, there were stained glass windows I assume also to block the view. Kinda felt like a Motel 6. For $600 a night, I would have expected better. One night it was VERY loud because we were basically at street level. I asked the manager if we could switch rooms, but she couldn't have cared less and told us that the room met the class of rooms we booked. Too bad, previous stays have been really nice. We won't return.

This hotel is conveniently located right by the river and all the tourist attraction. Millennium Park, The Bean, Chicago Cultural Center, Art Institute of Chicago, Riverwalk, Navy Pier, and Magnificent Mile are all within walking distance. We stayed on the top floor in a room with the view of the river. Other than having to face the Trump tower, the view is really perfect. There are many food options in the area. I love how we can get coffee and/or espresso every day. Our room was very clean and quiet. The sitting area along the tall windows allow my family to have their own peaceful time. I highly recommend L7 Lotte when you visit Chicago.
