This is a nice property in a great location. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The team here is welcoming and very helpful. We’ve stayed here a number of times over the years and have never been disappointed.

This was our first time staying at this hotel and we were very happy we decided to stay here! It’s was in a great area in Chicago and the room was wonderful. The phone and the clock/radio in the room didn’t work. They did not bring up the mini fridge and coffee maker as asked and promised at check in. The pool was very chlorinated and gross. I booked it for the pool.

Gabby at the front desk was integral to our amazing experience at the Royal Sonesta River North. She was so sweet and accommodating, and is the poster girl for hospitality. We were graciously upgraded to the luxury spa suite for our anniversary, and were so in awe at how the staff made sure our special occasion was special. I spoke with Sophie over chat prior to our trip and she was also such a great help. Gabby even let us pick out a lady hotel mascot card to keep as a souvenir! Will definitely be back and want to explore other royal Sonesta locations in the future.
