Our stay was ok. The hotel was not as updated as the pictures on the site shows. The carpets were stained and worn down, and the sheets and rooms were very old and outdated. The rooftop looked nothing like the photos. Otherwise it’s in a great location.

Great stay!!

Enjoyed our three night stay. We ate breakfast once and dinner once at the restaurant. Delicious! The coffee in the front room each morning was great. We sat in the comfy chairs and had a couple of cups each day. Our room was cozy. We will be coming back to The Royal Sonesta for sure!

Loved staying here, house keeper would clean our room every day. Staff was friendly. Rooftop is only open till 10pm, such a beautiful view. Definitely recommend staying here

Great Place To Try

We originally booked the Royal Sonesta thinking it was the one on the River and later found it was the North River Hotel. The North River does not have the view as the other one but the service, amenities, and overall friendliness and courtesy of the staff is awesome from the CBR restaurant to the front desk.
