Location is great - easy walk from the hotel to the river walk and a longer walk to Navy Pier. Right in the Loop, next to great public transit. We went on a weekend - streets were very quiet, lots of food options nearby and a Circle K and 7-11 a block away. Hotel itself was in good shape, clean with a parking garage next door. The fitness center was solid, with a good assortment of free weights and cardio equipment. My one quibble was with the included breakfast, which was below average. It gets VERY busy with guests with lineups for the waffle machines (they have three). By the time I got there they had run out of syrup and had very few toppings (jams and the like) available. The hot breakfast was limited to biscuits and gravy and pork/turkey sausage - no eggs. There were a couple cereals but, unusually for these breakfast buffets, no yoghurt. It wasn't tragic, but definitely was on the lower end of these standard hotel breakfasts I've encountered. That aside, the location was very convenient and the rooms were nice - nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing that would put you off.

The front desk staff was not friendly and welcoming at all.( I don’t know her name). August 17 evening was her shift). I did not see her smiling or welcoming our stay. She expected you to guess what’s going on. I also asked about the location of the parking which I was assuming it was free and I was being told that I will receive a text for the QR code, which was still vague for me, I had hard time activating the roaming and I preferred not to do that, next day I asked the other receptionist and she kindly helped me with the paper print, the suggestion that the other lady did not offer. When I was searching for the hotel I filtered to find a place with parking and if it was supposed not to be fre it should be clearly written in top not somewhere down in explanation that I overlooked until I was being Hegel the last day. The cleaning system is not convenient, there is no sign that you put on the door for ckeaning and you have to call or talk to the staff which is not convenient for everyone. The breakfast is minimal. But the location is great.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Property was well maintained, clean and convenient for walking to many places on our must see list. Nice breakfast included. In a week long stay, our room was only entered once, so we had to make our own beds and ask for clean towels. Would definitely recommend this hotel though.

We had a great room. Only complaint was I wish the couch was softer. The location was great!! In the heart of Chicago & we were able to walk to almost all the places we wanted to see. It was nice having a complimentary breakfast each morning. Also, the staff were extremely helpful when we had questions. I would totally recommend this place to stay. If we get to go back to Chicago we will be staying there again.

In the heart of the Windy City.
This an excellent downtown hotel in Chicago especially for the price paid. The breakfast, which was included, gets a bit chaotic and is busy at all times. The lady who runs the hot food counter is great and greets everyone with a good morning and how is your stay going. Had trouble with room door lock, but this was resolved quickly and efficiently by the hotel engineer.

Generally fine, however my room overlooked a noisy alleyway where they were doing waste pickup in the middle of the night. Also, the halls have the ugliest carpeting I've ever seen.
