Location not as described, front desk did not greet instead had to wait while he attended a coworker then walked away before checking us in. No wash clothes in bathroom or blow dryer. Breakfast wasn’t properly attended to the food was not hot, coffee was very weak and food areas were not clean.

Overall, ok. Breakfast is solid for travel to the airport, the rooms are decent and clean. Location sucks. Finding it is odd and is behind a Hyatt and interesting to find. Add signage, and not handwritten signs like I saw in the parking lot. Something a little more for guests. I did have an odd encounter with a man seemingly recording me and potentially fighting me. Rather than engage and fight him and subsequently ruin my honeymoon, I chose to let staff know that the man was aggressive against other guests. The young lady didn’t do much and the guy ignored her and he went on his way to his room after taking breakfast. I don’t know if he was a guest or someone who managed to sneak in. Do what you will with this information, I know there isn’t much the worker could do, but guest safety should always be paramount.

Upon booking the hotel I made a call to the property in order to inquire about their shuttle service . We called twice with a wait time of over an hour only to discover afterwards that their van had small signage which was very hard to distinguish. Ultimately we had to catch an uber to the property. Upon arrival to the property grounds, the building looked unsafe as it seems to be a transitional area. I opted to book another property near by instead.

Shower was small. Room was clean and modern. Easy walking to distance to services. Confusing location at first though, and website very much out of date. No shuttle service after 1030 and not on blue line as described by la qinta!

Booked via Expedia, upon arrival was informed my card was declined, due to an extra security fee which was not included in my total costs at time of booking. Upon arrival I was also informed I would have to pay for a parking fee to park in the hotels parking lot, I would understand if I would have stayed within the city itself which I have done several times, to be charged a fee in an open parking lot directly on the hotel property has me baffled. There is no ventilation in the bathrooms, no information in rooms of surrounding areas, no response when called front desk, no drink vending machines on floor, the room above was playing their music so loudly I could hear through room vents by the bed for hours well passed 9pm until early hrs.

It's a La Quinta. Whatever.

The promised free shuttle never arrived at ORD & I had a $37 taxi ride from the airport. Boo. They did give me a free bottle of water for the miss. Whatever. Best part is that a Target is walkable in case you forgot anything.

The stay was fine, but the airport shuttle and schedule was not acceptable. First of all there was no communication by La Quinta that it is a shared shuttle with Hyatt Place. Second there was no info on the shuttle bus front and side that this bus serves La Quinta. Only on the back. See photos. Of course I missed the airport shuttle and had to walk to hotel from the rental car facility. I missed the last busses. Had to walk at night. Furthermore service is unreliable. On very short notice they change schedule to 20 minutes later for example PS I tried to upload photos of the shuttle bus showing no La Quinta sign on front and sides, but guess it doesn‘t work

The staff that helped me was an older man who looked tired and was not very polite. The room that was assigned to me was clean and neat but the tiles were dirty. The grout around the tiles were discolored and dirty. The drain in the shower tube was slow. Water was up to the ankle when done showering.

This hotel was very nice inside. However, the building attached to it is dilapidated and nothing but an eye sore. The parking lot is not great. None of the lights were working and it was dark. Our hotel keys kept deactivating and three other people also had the same issue. The pillows were too soft like sleeping on nothing. The room was nice, bed nice, bathroom amenities were excellent. Close to the airport if you can navigate through the city of Chicago. They had breakfast but we did not partake. It is actually a nice place to stay.

Thanks to flights being delayed, I was automatically re-booked through Chicago with an overnight layover so I quickly booked this hotel. Within an hour flights changed again so I tried to cancel, admittedly it was a non-refundable booking. I spent 45 minutes trying to cancel the first time with La Quinta refusing to take Hotels.com’s phone call. The next morning the same thing, no answer. La Quinta finally responded later in the day they were refusing the refund. Out of this world terrible customer service.
