Acceptable but could be better.
Stay was fine. There is zero parking out front, so you have to stop in the road and rush to get your stuff out as the valet takes your car. We were quickly ushered into the building and given vague directions on where to go. Once we got to the 3rd floor, we were hastily checked in and given no information. Check in / check out times, wifi access, facilities, etc... and then sent on our way to the elevators, without even telling us where they were. The room was nice, although did show some wear and tear, but nothing extravagant. The bed was comfortable, but the in the One room king suite, there is a pocket door from both the living area and the bedroom, which banged and rattled when moving. Made bathroom trips in the night, very loud. Also, the bedroom pocket door was tilted and didn't close all of the way. Overall not a terrible stay, but less than thrilling.

First, my wife and her friends who were visiting Chicago for the first time were very disappointed with the condition of the room, from the clogged sink to the torn towels that were sent to the room. We expected better from a hotel on Michigan Avenue in the heart of downtown Chicago!!

I enjoy staying at OMNI hotels and Chicago was comfortable enough. It is definitely a bit dated and could have been cleaned a little better but the service was wonderful, aside from Daniel at the front desk. He inserted himself into a conversation and made me quite uncomfortable. Everyone else was lovely but he really needs to learn to listen for a moment without rudely talking over someone. He was the only negative part of the experience
