The hotel is beautiful and full of history . We thouroughly enjoyed leaning all about it. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Its a really busy place with many events going on but everyone was kind, patient, and seemed to enjoy doing what they do. We dud havd a smaller room than i was hoping for and the bathroom was very small and could have used some updating, but all in all we really enjoyed it and would definately stay again!

Tired Looking Rooms

This hotel is historic but needs alot of work. Half the elevators were working for our floor. The rooms need an overall overhaul. They are very very tired looking. Our bathroom door was peeling from the bottom up. That was my last stay at this historic hotel until they renovate.

Amazing location and near a lot so shopping and sites to see. Unfortunately, that is all. The hotel is old and dirty. Our room smelled so moldy and there was even mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Extremely small bathroom and the door was dirty and old. The shower curtain has yellow stains at the bottom. Just awful.

The hotel's history and close proximity to Millennium Park is the reason I chose the property. The gym was huge. Big disappointment that the pool was closed. I realize amenity fees are the norm, but wish they were not.
