The guy working the front counter, Jose, was a rude, arrogant, and dismissive on multiple occasions during our stay. He was the opposite of hospitable. Rooms were fine, the place was clean enough for the price, but I can't abide the disrespect we we shown while checking in and the disrespect we were shown while we were trying to extend our stay for one more night and the guy literally laughed in my face when telling me they had no vacancy. If I could have dragged him outside at that point and beat his aßß without going to jail for it, I would have. Instead I told him what I thought of him and his service, and left to book a room elsewhere. Would not stay here again if this guy is their representative.

Overall it's a good hotel for the price. It's comfortable, mostly clean, and in a safe location. It's also five minutes from the mall, ten minutes from a metra train to get downtown, and twenty five minutes from the All State arena. It's also got a decent free breakfast with eggs and sausage. Minus one star though because this time housekeeping tried to get in our room at 8:30am and woke us up. We were only staying one night and hadn't checked out yet so housekeeping had no business trying to do that.

The pool was filthy, the hot tub smelled like mold not chlorine. There was no coffee pot in my room, just the machine missing the pot, I asked for one but never got one.. I expected a cleaner experience after paying so much for a 3 night stay.
