First, there was no elevator to the 2nd floor, 3 girls packed for a weekend and couldn’t use the cart available and we had to carry everything up to the second floor. Room definitely wreaked of cigarette smoke! The yup did not drain, water was up to the first girl’s ankles after 20 minutes, the next day water was up to the 2nd girls knee caps!We had to open the window immediately. Overall the beds were comfy and clean and firm! Staff was no where in sight to get extra toilet paper or towels.
But the price for the occasion was worth it.
Easy check in, hotel convenient to get to. There is a good family restaurant across the street. Room was clean. Breakfast is very basic cold cereals, bagels/toast, yogurt and waffles. Beds are rock hard though and we all woke up with very sore backs.
The internet was painfully slow, and there is no elevator to the second floor. But everything human related was great! Staff was friendly, competent and helpful
Liars all the way around. We booked on the way into Chicago for the first time. After stopping for dinner and realized after entering the hotel information into the map that it was not in Chicago as advertised and was an hour back the way we had just come. We called and asked for a transfer to a hotel actually in Chicago which wasn’t an option. After pleading our case she agrees to a refund which never happened. I used to rely on this brand but will no longer stop.

One terrible night.
The picture you show of the lobby might be the hotels dream. I had nothing but problems. The room was old, filthy and the shower didn't work. Nor the hot tub but i didn't care about that. The screen outside the window was torn and flapped all night. It was one thing after the next and I left early the next day. Unbelievably bad.
Unfortunately we ended up not staying here. After check in we drove around to the entry where our room was closest to. There were several groups of people in camping chairs hanging out in the parking lot. The room itself was clean, but old and warn down. We then remembered to relay we had a service animal. I called the front desk, where we were told we had to move rooms. We were on a tight schedule so I had planned to just swap out the keys with the front desk. I was then told at the desk that they were making a note on our file about having a ‘pet’ and I would need to talk to the supervisor in the morning before leaving. I was told we would be getting a pet fee and that was the reason we needed to speak to the supervisor.
I relayed, again, that we had a service animal and not a pet. This became an issue to the point where we no longer felt comfortable staying.
If you have a service animal, don’t bother trying this place.
