It’s convenient if you want to rest your head. But the quality was poor and the room smells like cigarettes. I was on the first floor level and I couldn’t sleep comfortably. There was also a bug in the room. The front desk was very polite and understanding though.

Convenient spot to stay between Great Lakes and Chicago. Easy in between without travelling too far back and forth. Average rooms, minor issues but nothing major to make a big deal about.

Turned the lights on to see roaches scatter across the floor. It was so unclean that I didn’t feel safe staying at all and had to find last minute accommodation elsewhere!

My first room was a terrible mess. Cigaret buds in the bathroom, awful smell, and loud noises from the AirCon. Second room was a bit better but the smell was still there and the bathroom was stained.

extremely dirty. everything was stained and/or dirty. sheets, blankets, toilet, shower. we moved to a second room and it was better but still unclean. we didn’t even feel comfortable showering here because it was so dirty. there was huge stains on every single piece of linen, the beds, the walls. staff was reasonably accommodating. would not stay here again.

Better than expected for a budget motel. Mattress had no pad or protector so I was a bit nervous. A couple lightbulbs burnt out, and remote for tv didn’t work even with new batteries. Toilet didn’t have bolts so wobbled. But everything was mostly clean, no smell, and felt safe and well lit outside. Lobby was clean and check in was fast and easy.

I am a regular at this red roof location and I disliked and always have is that the rooms don't seem to be very clean. I'm not sure if it's the decor or the outdated furniture but it needs are revamp. The location is great and the staff is awesome

Not worth the cheap rates!!!
The room was dirty. Had to request a new comforter for the bed because the one on the bed when I arrived was covered with stains. One section of the floor in the room was sticky. Wore my shoes the entire time I was in my room. I asked to have it cleaned by housekeeping the next day, was never done. The room also smelled heavy of smoke, like it was a giant ashtray. There were also stains all over the walls.

Blood splattered on the ceiling, dried feces clinging in bathroom wall, base of the toilet was filthy. Theres was 1 fresh towel, 1 was still hanging at the door, used by the guest before me, there is only 1 wash cloth that need to be replaced.
