Arrived at hotel via taxi (yes, had to pay $40) due to no shuttle showing up at the airport after 2 hours of waiting. Once arriving at hotel I was told that my room was not ready and at 1000-1030 PM some aircrew would be leaving and they would start cleaning rooms. This would be close to 3 hours after my arriving. AND I was the 9th on the waiting list to get a room. Most of those waiting had vouchers from an airline, but I had paid over $250. I did speak to the manager and I was able to get a room in about 90 minutes. There was zero compensation even after completing a survey for the hotel. Only reply was sorry, thank you for the feedback to help improve our checkin process, and hope that you decide to stay with us again. It's bad enough that the 6 hours of traveling had turned into over 24 hours. Being told that you have to wait for your room is the last thing anyone traveling, especially for a trip due to a family emergency and funeral.

They don’t want to give us our room so we had to wait until 11:00 o’clock to check in. Our room should be ready by 3:00 that’s 8 hours different. Me and my family didn’t know what to do, already tired coming from Sweden. The worst hotel experience, I am demanding half my money back at least

Larger room. Spacious and the rear side courtyard by the pool was a plus. However, there wasn't any towers in my room when I checked in. Bathroom wasn't clean. Seemed that the cleaning crew was busy taking care of things. Tub needs some improvement. Drainage plug wasn't working well.
