Nice winter getaway!
We enjoyed our stay. We were on the 2nd floor. If you want a better view out of your window, you need to choose a higher floor. The Sonder was very clean and safe. You needed a passcode to enter the building. Great communication, easy process of entering the building. Codes are provided plenty of time in the future for your stay. Museums and downtown are within walking distance. We would stay again!

El apartamento es amplio, tal cual como en las fotos, tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar, cuenta con centro de lavado, está en una zona segura y tranquila, hay restaurantea y supermercados alrededor. Tiene escritorio para trabajar. Una de las habitacioes cuenta con baño propio. Tuvimos in inconveniente para entrar, el código que nos dieron del candado digital no servía, llamamos a un call center de Sonder, responden super rápido y las 24hras, nos ayudaron de inmediato con un nuevo código. Nuestra estancia fue placentera.

Bed was extremely hard. There was a random cell phone left there plugged in and on kitchen counter. We called and they made us wait a day for someone to come get it. Also found an empty sex toy box under the bed. Hot water for showers was warm at best.

The location was perfect: close to grocery, public transportation and expressways. Unfortunately there is only street parking available, but I knew this when I booked. Had trouble getting in the front door which was VERY frustrating, but was able to speak to an agent easily. It did take them a while to remedy., and they gave a small credit for that. The layout of the 2 bedroom was nice; the furniture was what you might expect in a mid-range hotel: we had to put bed pillows on the sofa for comfort. The washing machine didn't work, but they provided access to one in a vacant unit, and gave a small credit for that as well.

I typically stay at Sonder in NOLA and never experienced any issues associated with appliances not Working properly and dirty dishes left inside the dish washer. I did report via chat and the maintenance came out “tried” to fix and we Left with a bag full of wet clothing.

This property was in a good location - walked to Shedd Aquarium, Soldier Field, and good restaurants on South Michigan. Asked a few questions via text with prompt responses. No complaints with this clean property exactly as advertised.

Meh.
We wouldn't book this place again, but it did the job for a long weekend to visit family and friends. The number one complaint is the shades on the huge windows. I haven't stayed in a hotel in years that didn't have black-out shades. You could see through these so the morning was pretty uncomfortable trying to sleep past 6:30am. The unit could use some maintenance like the shower grout and chipped paint on walls. This place looks like it wants to be sleek and modern and hip, but they executed in a cheap way.
