This was an amazing experience for my daughter’s 11th birthday. We booked this location due to the affordable price and amenities. The pool is one of the best we’ve been to at a hotel and the staff was beyond friendly. Nicole at the front desk was very accommodating and she made sure our stay was pleasant. She took very good care of us and she’s honestly the biggest reason we are planning on coming back. Breakfast buffet was also delicious. Rooms were clean, spacious and perfect for our family of 4.

Not what was expected
Walking in, there were signs of “excuse the construction”. We’ve stayed at other hotels under construction before, so we did not think too much of it, BUT, the associate checking is in made no mention of the extent of construction, or even that there was a nightly charge for parking (which is an open lot with no security). We changed rooms twice, and ended up needing to leave the window open at night (30 degrees at night) while also having a box fan in the room since the heat was on but could not regulate to any specific temp. The heat was either on or off, so we attempted to “regulate” it ourselves. Furniture and fixtures/bath were old, so we’re not sure if any rooms were already updated or not. The one positive is Amber, who (after check in) tried her best to assist us with a properly working room (thus moving rooms twice). I’m sure once all construction is completed, this location will be great, but the signs said Nov 2024 and it seems there is a long way to go.

The service at the desk was outstanding, and both the room and daily housekeeping service was outstanding. My only reason for not giving this hotel a 5-star rating was that a $5 per night charge was added for parking. I did not notice this when I made the reservation because it never crossed my mind that a hotel this far away from the airport in Elmhurst would not offer free parking.

Travel with kids. Breakfast was good with many options. Bathroom in our room needs more work. The shower head was going to pull out of the wall anytime you turn it on. Staff were nice. Parking was easy. Overall it was a good stay.
