Terrible experience. Pay more and stay elsewhere.
Cons:
1. We had no TV remote and when we asked the front desk for a remote, she said they don't have one, they couldn't take one from another room, and they had no rooms available to move us to a room where we could actually watch TV. She suggested we use the power button on the bottom of the TV with no ability to change channels or adjust the volume. So we had no TV during our stay.
2. Although they advertise they have a pool, it was closed.
3. The sheets on my bed were dirty and when I asked for clean sheets because the ones on my bed were dirty, she brought them to the room and handed them to me. I had to strip the old nasty sheets off the bed myself and put the new ones on which were also dirty.
4. The carpet was filthy and the entire room had a musty smell.
5. The hallways were noisy late into the night/early morning.
6. When I asked her to make things right, she suggested I checkout, get a refund, and try to find a room somewhere else or I could talk to the manager in the morning. She said "If you're sweet to him, he'll probably give you some type of compensation". If I'm sweet to him?? So not only do I have to spend the night in a disgusting room but now I have to sweet talk the manager for him to make things right?
Pros:
1. The beds were very comfortable.
2. Proximity to Six Flags, Gurnee Mills, Dining options, and the expressway.
Seriously, stay somewhere else!
