I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The moment I walked in, there was a strong unpleasant odor throughout the property and inside the room. The room felt dirty and poorly maintained, and the overall cleanliness was far below what anyone should expect from a hotel. For the amount of money charged, the condition of the hotel was unacceptable. The smell alone made it difficult to relax and enjoy the stay. The property clearly needs better cleaning and maintenance. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I would not stay here again.

Motel was run down, not clean, and not inviting. We were just looking for a place to crash for a few hours to rest and shower before driving again. Everything in the area was booked or very high priced because of a recent power outage. We stayed for 2 hours and got out of there. The mattresses didn’t have protectors on them and were old and stained. The shower was dirty so we didn’t use it. They gave you one little soap bar. I used a towel to dry off after just “washing up” in sink and it was so wore out over half the towel was see through threads. I’m not even sure how this place is allowed to be open.

There was no staff at the hotel. The room we had wasn’t secure either. There was no top lock so anyone could’ve kicked down the door. The doors were also flimsy. We came in after being out and we were struggling to get in the room. I called the front desk and no one answered. By some miracle we made it into our room. The bathroom was weird too. The lights would flicker and they only give 1 roll of toilet paper per room. Walls had stains, TV was small and not the best quality, and the free “breakfast” included bagels and juice. No coffee. 0/10 do not recommend.

If you have kids don't stay here. The facility was not clean. Garbage in the halls, dust coating everything, sticky surfaces, BBQ sauce spilled in a dresser drawer, and the toilet lid was broken in our room. The building smelled of pot and it was overwhelming. Doors do not feel secure. I could go on and on but to sum it up it's not clean nor well taken care of.

We checked in, but decided against staying the night at this hotel. When we got to the hotel, sketchy people were ourside smoking weed. When we walked to look for our room, the hallway had a lingering weed smell and the carpet was very dirty. Once in our room, the iron board cover was very dirty as well, the mattress and desl chair had stains on it. We left for our concert and during those hours we decided we didn't felt comfortable and safe spending the night at that hotel, even if we ended up losing our money. The staff was nice and helpful, but the area the hotel is at is not the best, attracting not the best crowd. This is the 2nd time Expedia has recommended a bad, unsafe hotel in the Chicago area. Will not stay here again.

The inside and the rooms are very outdated. While the sheets were clean the floor was not. The door knob fell off as soon as we opened the door to our room. The towels were damp and there were no bath towels available. Also you need to give them $100 in cash as a deposit. That fact is not made known when you book the room. You get it back when you check out but it is not made clear why you need to give them the cash or why. There is a cash machine but it has a cost if you are not carrying cash on you. We didn’t feel very safe staying there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
