If you like the 1980s vibe then this is your spot. It was like waking back in time. The rooms were clean but ceramic over grouted time in the bathroom. Customer service was subpar at its best. Would I recommend? Be your own judge. For the price and period of if time stayed u would gicenit a 4.5/10

It is a very beautiful, historic property with nicely appointed common areas. The bed in our room was super comfortable but the shower ran only cold water. Also, there was only one working lamp and one outlet available to charge phones.

In town to help family move— good location; staff is lovely in all interactions; breakfast buffet is actually quite a step above of other hotels; refrig in rooms but no microwave or coffee pot ( they do have an electric water pot for tea and coffee brew bags). It is an old hotel that for the most part is very pretty and quaint. There were some things in the room that could be updated— wall paper and exposed plumbing in bathroom, but otherwise bed was comfy and room was good sized.

I expected more from a 4 star hotel in a good neighborhood. It is a long text so i start with the worst: one of the sheets had blood stain and I asked for replacement. The safe in my room didn’t work and had to be replaced. The rooms were extremely dark even with multiple lamps. I like dark rooms but this room was not bearable. The fan and ac were extremely noisy and the rooms were loud in the midnight, not just because of street but because every now and then a hotel staff had his/her device on to communicate with other members. It was very difficult to sleep. The breakfast was not good quality in my opinion i stayed there for a week and the only thing they were changing was the pastries type. Everything else stayed the same no creativity. Every time same fruit same type of egg dish. And the restaurant wasn’t ready to handle big crowds on weekends. It was a small disaster when there were lots of people. I think the only positive thing i can say is that the lady at the front desk called Felicia was very friendly and helpful. I had a feeeling that many other staff members were either new or not competent. They sometimes forgot the things I ordered over the phone.
