Quaint hotel

We picked this place due to location. We were able to easily walk to a Cubs game! This place is super cute and quaint, though it needs updating which I read in previous reviews… overall it was still a good place to stay and we would stay again!

Great service, old hotel

Service was awesome, everyone is friendly, the only bad experience i had was the first night i got locked out of my room because the door stopped working. I had to have someone manually come up and open my room manually every time until the next after noon where they called me and offer to change my room, the cost of the room for that first night was over $400 which was way over priced. The hotel is really old and you can tell from the hallways, elevator, and the restrooms. My rating is based solely on the hotel and not the staff. The staff was great and very helpful.

Good location, lobby area pleasant, spacious room, appreciated the fitness access and free coffee/tea/cookies, radiant heating in bathroom nice but should not have been on during summer, AC in wall unit loud and didn’t cool room very well, shower pressure pretty low but serviceable, generally clean but a little run down.

The old building gave it a quaint feel, but the room itself was tiny; very little room to move. The bathroom was very narrow and hard to move in, and it was very humid as the air didn’t flow well.
