The staff was great but I was highly disappointed in our room. Online looked great, lobby is nice and doesn’t match the incredibly outdated and desperate need for updating rooms. I reserved 2 double beds and was given a “suite” for myself and four kids to share a king bed. The pull out couch was horrendous.

The lobby is clean & updated. The floor hallways are gloomy and don't give a clean appearance or atmosphere. Our room represented an older building, but was clean and presentable. I have stayed here in the past, and I'm sure I will again the next time I come to Chicago. The location is ideal for me, as it's close to everything, perfect for walking and sightseeing.

Very easy to get around from this hotel. It was a quick 15-20 minute walk from the train station, and 15 minutes from Soldier Field. Area felt very safe and there were plenty of places to eat late at night around the hotel. Will be back again.

Don’t let the updated lobby fool you! Once you get upstairs & off the elevator you will step back in time…like into an old horror movie. The rooms are very spacious but not updated much. The bathroom was newer but lack of countertops made it difficult. Also the tub was way too high getting in & out of! Carpet is old. Mini fridge was broken.

It was a great place to stay and will stay again! Super convenient for walking or public transportation to all the attractions. Felt very safe there too, just make sure to buddy up! They don’t have parking but I used the SpotHero app and parked down the street in a very safe and secure garage my car was there the whole time which was 4 days and it was $90. It is an older hotel but was perfect for us, especially for the price!
