The valet parking situation made our stay very unpleasant. $94 a day for valet is already on the high end, and we had to wait over 30 minutes for our vehicle because their valet parking is off site and they only have one parking attendant for the hotel so at common times this could be even longer which is unacceptable

Beautiful property, incredible view from the 14th floor and really comfy bed. The suites are definitely worth it for that tub and that view! But honestly the best part was how kind all of the staff was — from those that checked us in to housekeeping to the manager at the restaurant. Everyone had a really calm, chill and friendly vibe and that felt both welcoming and relaxing. We loved our stay and can’t wait for another staycation with y’all.

First stay; won't be the last!

Lovely room with spacious shower (great water pressure) and especially attentive housekeeping. Lots of thoughtful design choices -- like the long entryway to limit any noise from the hallway, the closet you can access from either side, and hooks for winter coats. This was our first time staying at the Viceroy (I picked it to be close to the Newberry Library, and because I found a great deal), and we will happily return!
