The only thing I liked about this property was the location and view from my room. Also, Heidi at the front desk was amazing! The renovations look half way done. The hallways are raggedy and smell bad. Only certain parts of the room was renovated. Shower was old and rusty. All of the towels were stained. Sheets were stained. Room smelled of mildew. The walk to your room takes forever. You have to take 2 elevators to get to your room. I would not stay here again.

Decent but not Memorable

Stayed for 3 nights while in town for the annual Black Yacht Weekend. This location was central to the many parties around the city, walking distance to some eateries, CVS and to get to the Riverwalk. Parking in the adjacent lot was very convenient as we had a vehicle. The drawbacks were housekeeping was skipping our room even after removing the door tag and speaking directly to the housekeeper. We then had to go to the front desk - calling to the Conceirge or Front Desk won't work. You'll get a recording and just bounced out. When they did come (1x out of 3 nights) it was not a good clean of the tub. Didn't leave enough towels or replace the toilet paper with new rolls. It just seemed like obvious misses. Didn't enjoy the bar or buffet, but the complimentary candy was very good. The hotel elevators for guest is a bit of a hike and they were slow, doors closed slowly and sometimes didn't even move so that's something to look into. Would I return? Probably not.

We did not see the steamer in the room which would have been nice to know. When I called for an iron it took a while. When I called back down the staff (Sam) was apologetic about the long wait! He even called the room to share that he gave the wrong room to housekeeping. It was nice for him 1- to be honest and 2 apologize for the wait. Very nice and professional. I will definitely stay here again!
