I felt that what I had paid for a night stay was far too much for the experience I was given. There were too many inconveniences during our stay made me feel this way. After paying EXTRA for valet parking, our baggage took 1 1/2 - 2 hour(s) to get to our room. I had to call the front desk to ask for my bags to be brought up. I asked if we could also get ice and water from room service when asking for my bags which took 1 hour after getting our bags. We only received the water and no ice. Room service brought ice upstairs about 1 hour later. And the pool was mediocre at best.
Other than those things, we enjoined our stay. Room service was great when ordering from their menu(s). Food was 4.1/5 and was great late at night. Bed was very comfortable and shower was great. The tub’s a little small, but still pretty nice. Everything was clean too. Overall, it didn’t seem like a true 5-star hotel to me. This place was more like the Hilton Chicago.
