it was a little difficult to check in for an after hours check in. the phone that's available to call the front desk doesn't work at all, but the people at the front desk did eventually help us out. they were amazing and so helpful.
As Hotel gets busier and shortage of staff(mostly housekeeping) really shows. Been a Guest for a extended time. I ask is the GM a Boss or a leader? The front Desk has a very hard time keeping everything together with a shortage of leadership.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Although I stayed for only one night, there were plenty of amenities (e.g. a full-size refrigerator and microwave, a modern stovetop) that should have been very useful for multiday stays. I would stay there again if I’m in the area.
This is a long-term stay property (which provided a great rate) but the staff (specifically Cindy) were terrible. She was very aggressive, not welcoming or friendly at all…
Cindy even made it her business to call our room twice (allocated a room on first floor) to tell us “I’ve seen you on camera and you are not allowed a dog in your room on the first floor”. This “Big Brother” approach was again aggressive and invasive. Who calls a customer to advise “I saw you on camera”?!
When we checked in, and disclosed a dog (pet friendly hotel) they advised only rooms on level 2 allow dogs but they were fully booked, so had no option other than to place us on the first floor as they would not cancel the reservation upon us offering. So the solution was “we will check you in but will likely move you to level 2” FYI, they could not give us an indication of when they would. In our case, it was 10 days into a 28 night stay…
Beware of the “limited housekeeping” as it actually means once every 14 days and replacement towels, toilet paper inside this comes at a $3 charge. We felt very let down by the fact this was not managed on the front end of the booking process.
Common hallways (especially level 2) smell and are unclean. They actually checked us into unclean room.
The parking lot, is like a “repair shop” for broken down cars. Again, while it is a long-term stay property, there is so much activity and noise. Rooms/walls are thin and was not conducive of getting a good nights rest.

Our stay was just okay, I don’t like that they want to charge for clean towel if you need more. They also want to charge you if you need more than two rolls of tissues. There is no curtains for any real privacy or to block morning sunlight. Some of the shades were broken as well.
This place was not a good experience. There is a lady with a huge attitude problem , I greeted her and she was rude about it. Not to mention check in time is at 3pm but they didn’t have my room ready until 5pm. Very unprofessional place.
Got back to the room after a music show that I went to Chicago for, and got there after hotel staff left for the night. Had very loud/intoxicated neighbors a few doors down that didn’t quit making noise until 5am. Would have told hotel staff about it and been happy with a different room away from the loud people for the night, but couldn’t since no one is at front desk after 11p. Wanted to do more site seeing around Chicago the day after, but didn’t since I was so tired from not sleeping and had a 5 and a half hour drive back home. Staff and the hotel itself were satisfactory, but probably wont go back here due to this experience.
I was there for 13 days and good thing there was a Walmart 3.5 miles away because you only got 2 rolls of toilet paper (any more and you charged) only 2 bath towels and wash cloths, NO hand towels or dish towels, dish soap… NOTHING. and if want to sleep in, good luck cuz there were NO blackout curtains and really lame pillows
I’ve stayed at this property twice already this year, and honestly, it’s been a good choice. If you need to stay in the suburbs for a good price, I recommend this place. The staff isn’t very friendly, but they do their job.
