The overall property needs renovation now. We were just passing through for 1 night so I didnt even take a shower cause the tub was so old and didnt look clean. Worst thing was the smell. Our hallway and room reeked of cigarette smoke. Bedding was clean and bed was comfortable though. I mentioned the smoke smell when we checked out and the response was...oh, sorry. Would not recommend.

Front desk agent was nice. BUT, upon walking into my room it was nasty. Old blood stains on bed comforters, stains on wall, mirror, kleenex on bathroom floor, dust everywhere, garbage on floor. Nasty! Instantly ask Front Desk and Hotels.com for refund.

Very warm and accommodating staff. Location is very convenient to downtown, the park, and old Pump House gallery, as well as the Hopewell Indian mounds, just 3 mi north of the hotel. There are lots of convenient services and restaurants going north of the hotel. The location is a bit noisy because it's located between two busy highways, but it's basically a very comfortable hotel. Breakfast was pretty standard free hotel fare. The egg and cheese product was substandard though. The pub is a nice touch if you're so inclined.
