Bluefin cottage is a nice place to stay for a short time. Cottage bay views were stunning. The screen in porch was great especially since it rained an entire day during our stay. Love the kitchen living room and dining room spaces. The main bedroom is a little tight but the bunk bed room was nice. The reason why this property received 4 stars ; 1. The shower water turned cold in the middle of my shower that’s unacceptable especially for a building code official visiting for the first time actually it’s a code violation 2. Housekeeping must start cleaning screened in porch spider webs were on the walls and ceiling and dirty fingerprints were on all the doors. I had to clean and disinfect all shareable areas. We love that this property is a keyless no contact property. As a timeshare owner and frequently staying at nice hotels this cottage was a nice experience. Overall we will definitely stay here again💕

The idea of being over water was wonderful. However, the smell of sewage wasnt pleasant. Our drain in the shower was clogged the entire time, i also had to go purchase batteries to replace the dead ones in the remote. The deal breaker was arriving and the staff originally stating they so t have me on their list. After paying in advance an wntire week, i was told "we'll find you something" Well I dont want you to find me anything, I would like to have the facility in which I paid for available upon my arrival, not for you to go and make a bed and put new towels in a unit and call it available. Totally disgusting. I left the place in better condition than Once I opened the door.

We stayed in the boathouse bungalows. Was a bit of a walk to our room, but the property offers carts to transport your items. Our accommodations were very clean, and extremely comfortable. The gentle rocking of the boat gave us the best nights sleep in a while. The pool was a very comfortable temperature for last spring, and we enjoyed playing corn hole and watching the sunset on the beach front over the bay. We will definitely be rebooking on our next vacation to the area.

We stayed in one of the floating pontoon suites, and loved it. The beds are comfy, there is a kitchenette, and 2 bedrooms. The shower is huge. The grounds are immaculate, and right on the water. Nice marina, really nice pool. This is my new favorite place to stay when I go to the Eastern Shore.

This is our second stay at the bungalows. Last time we stayed in the floating bungalow and then this time on the non floating. Both were amazing experiences. Great views, friendly staff, clean bungalows with plenty of privacy. We will be back again!

I thought these were beachfront view but the view was the other bungalows. The room was freezing when we got in and no instructions on how to change I had to Google for the manual. The 2 tvs had remotes that were connected and we had to unplug the one to get the other tv to work with the controller. The room was very nice and clean. Would have liked to have more coffee packs.

This was the perfect spot for my wife and I to get away for a few days. We stayed in a floating bungalow which made for a unique experience. It came stocked with everything we could have needed and was very clean. The property grounds also has plenty of spots for you to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Definitely recommend staying here and we can’t wait to come back!

Trip to Chincoteague

As we are older the walk from the car to the cottage was difficult as was getting into the bungalow. It took a little getting used to the rocking of the house but we adjusted as time went on. We enjoyed our stay but will stay next time in the bungalows not floating in the water with closer access and parking.

Gorgeous, Chill, and First Impressions

Amazing private vacation spot for friends to go to the Seafood Festival at Tom’s Cove Park, which is only 1 mile away. The screened-in porch is a perfect hang out spot, day or night, and the waterfront view is gorgeous with wildlife, waves, and open sky. Staff was informative and laidback during check in and check out. Everything is provided (bedding, towels, dishes, silverware, coffee, etc.), but it’s ideally for two people. I’d recommend bringing extra shower towels for groups of 3 or more. Pack pillows or blankets if you need to use the pull-out sofa bed since the mattress is a little thin. One thing I didn’t know from the photos, is that all the interior doors are pocket doors that slide into the walls. It’s very effective for the space but can be tricky to close or lock. Upon check out, you have to wipe down the counters, sweep the floors, and empty all trash. Not like a typical hotel, but the space was very quick and easy to clean. I note all this, but I have no complaints. This relaxed stay made a wonderful trip even better!
