A great stay & we will visit again

A lovely friendly welcome with an upgrade to a studio. The room was large, very clean with lovely views. A restful stay, the only negative was the bed was a little too soft for what we are used to. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and breakfast was great and offered plenty of choice. We will return again in the future.

This is a large facility with a golf course, Spa, restaurant and bar. There is a large parking lot so parking is easy. The hotel itself is very plain. The rooms were large with functional furniture. If you are looking for a charming place in the Cotswalds this isn’t it, but it was fine for a few days especially if you are travelling around the Cotswalds. Chippen Norton is a cute town about 4 miles away, Blenheim Palace is about 10 miles away and Oxford is about a 40 minute drive. The restaurant was very basic - about the same as pub food for the most part. Breakfast was a buffet.

Our ‘double’ bed was actually to single beds pushed together. Not exceptionally comfortable and the pillows were awful. One very hard and one thin and soft. No extras to even swap them out for. Struggled to sleep and woke up with a bad neck. However the property itself was clean, and the staff friendly.

Having a balcony was a huge bonus for us. The room was good for a basic room we ordered with a king bed. The disappointing thing was the pillows were very flat. The staff who travel around on the buggys picking up and delivering laundry needs to slow down as he used it as a race track, especially arounf corners. The restaurant for dining at night was lovely a la carte menu was suburbed. Our overall experience was lovely i would recommmend this hotel and we will definitely be back again.

An odd mix. It had a great shower, but really thin scratchy towels. It had a decent size room and a good big bed, but really old poor quality furniture. Overall it was ok and pretty good for the money.
