It was our 2nd time staying at Tower Junction Motor Lodge. We really like it because it has everything we need and its within walking distance to the Mall and to the Tower Junction shopping Centre. We also appreciated the lift to our day on the TranzAlpine train.

Stayed three nights in Towers Junction Motel and had a great time there. The location is convenient for food, coffee and shopping centre. The owner Prince is very friendly. We had four adults in the group and required to do laundry before we went out in the morning, he would wake up at 7:30 to open the laundry room for us. Truly recommend this place

A very good option when taking the TranzAlpine train the next morning as only a 10min walk. The studio room was very good, clean, bed was quite ok, microwave & kitchen utensils useful….. recommend.

New owners are working hard to upgrade the facility such as installing all new carpeting. Owners are very friendly and helpful and do provide shuttle service to the airport for an additional fee.

We stayed there in a one bedroom apartment on arrival into Christchurch before heading off on a South Island road trip. There was a Westfield nearby with a Pak N Save supermarket enabling us to cook simple meals on the cook top. There were eateries within walking distance but we didn't try any of them.

Nice and clean, everything we needed on site. Functional kitchen area with stovetop and microwave. Table, chairs, desk, built in wardrobe, bedside tables, good heating and lighting, well aired. Not superior but had a comfortable, clean and very pleasant stay 😊
