What's not to like. Yes, it's nowhere near anything, but as a layover you get: Parking. A Bar. Large bed. Air Con. The Tesla chargers are not currently working. You get no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

The Royal Snail
Room was small, lots of space taken up with an inexplicably large desk. River view was actually view of the road and car park then the river. Expensive for what it was.

Although this hotel claims to be 4 * I would definitely call it a 3. It’s fine, it’s clean and in a quiet area with a nice walking or biking path. That’s about where it’s ends, for a quick one night stay, it did the trick.

Very quiet and peaceful situated in beautiful hilltop countryside and with plenty of parking Although quite isolated there is a regular cable car service to the town. There is also a neighbouring bar/restaurant with stunning views over the valley below
