The hotel pool is great and the vreakfast was lovely. The view from rooms are beautiful 😍 Only thing was room was a bit too small, the fan didnt work, the mirror was too short and shower wouldnt move. The hotel is in a great location but needs a major refurb.

The view from our balcony over the lake was just fabulous. Bit of confusion over booking breakfast; we booked it on Sunday evening for Monday morning. When we went into breakfast on the Monday, we were told that although they had our booking, we could not come in as we did not have a "blue token" and would need to go back the reception desk to sort this out. Eventually we were allowed in & called in to reception after breakfast where we were advised that we needed to pay for the breakfast, which we did.

Lovely stay arranged by Aunt. Three nights very comfortable room with everything you need. Patio area by a pathway so could be quite busy and noisy during the day. Beautiful surrounding overlooking the lakes. Lovely walks nearby, water sports walkable from the hotel, lovely spacious and clean room with a comfortable bed. The pation area outside was lovely to sit at in the sunshine. We did paddle boarding which was great and very close by. We also ate in the restaurant and the boathouse. Both served decent meals

Wonderful
Stunning hotel! We booked one of the apartments overlooking the lake which was just stunning. The apartment was clean comfortable and spacious. The area was nice and peaceful perfect for our getaway. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant (old boot) and the cafe were great. Would definitely recommend! Only thing that’s a shame is that guests of the hotel do not have access to the pool, only if you’ve booked a spa treatment which is unlike other spa hotels I’ve stayed at

There wasn't anything to complain about the hotel; there was plenty of parking, the room was large and had plenty of coffee, tea and milk, which is a rarity. We found all the staff to be efficient and friendly and albeit only for one night, it was a really nice break. The pool and facilities were also a bonus but had to use at 8am so we didn't need to book a slot.

On arrival was advised we had no booking. They blamed expedia. On getting to the room, very tired, burns on the desk, black mould on the ceiling and walls in the bathroom, extractor broken. Grouting in bad condition. Raised to reception who said they would speak to manager (heard nothing). Booked restaurant for 2nd night, on arrival no booking made and full. Locked out of room on 2nd night. Spoke to manager on departure who explained they are working on refurb but not our room yet. Hard to believe this is a 4 star hotel. Communication and coordination amongst staff appalling.

Hotel decor was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety of things, quite expensive if it isn’t included in your stay price though. Found the hotel very noisy, could hear every door around your room slamming shut. Tea and coffee room supplies didn’t get replaced during our stay when the cleaners came round which was annoying. Location of the hotel is fab very central to things you want to go and see around the Cotswolds

I loved everything about this property!! Excellent roomy and comfortable accommodation with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake (#320). So relaxing and calm watching the swans. The hotel sustainable, and also dog friendly. I’m not a dog owner but a dog lover and the dogs in this hotel treated with much respect as the human guests. Staff was helpful and smiley, looks they’re all having fun working there and projecting this to the guests. Breakfast was superb, great variety to accommodate every diet. The room facilities offered mini bar, ironing board, quality coffee/tea making area, fan and complimentary water. I also loved the tack shop….such a lovely touch. Great stay for us will not hesitate to return. Thank you
