Instructions given for check in are very clear, property easy to find, room we stayed in was very clean with spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed and the voucher for breakfast at the cafe was very nice. Easy to walk to the port!

Not recommended
Check in was easy, was not expecting a walk up. We would not recommend this unit. Walls are paper thin and we could hear people snoring, and certainly their conversations you’re not supposed to walk in to that space but that area. Shower was a trickle with not much hot water and a doorway abt a foot wide to get into shower. Just a disappointing experience.

The hostess was amazing, she was so welcoming and so wonderful to deal with. The property was charming, clean, comfortable. This property is walkable to cruise port and plenty of shops and restaurants. We had rented 4 of the rooms and would highly recommend this property.

We booked this just for a couple of nights at the end of our cruise rather than flying straight home. We were able to gain entry to the B & B early which was super. It would have been nice if there had been more kitchen facilities eg more cups, plates and kitchen cleaning items. Bedroom could have done with a few more electrical sockets

Very small room, not the one I booked on Expedia, could not wait to leave. Not reccomended for couples, it would suit a single traveler. Wall did stop voices from ajoining rooms, we got to listen to arguments for a good 30 mimutes.

Absolutely no frills backpackers/dorm style accommodation, people should know room Papavero has 2 single trundle beds and a disconnected bathroom. The so called B&B is unattended with no value facilities, breakfast is a voucher for coffee and a croissant at the local cafe if its open. There are better stays in Civitavecchia, i wouldn't stay again. Price says it all

Although it stated check in started at noon when we got there the woman cleaning said 3pm. Shortly after we were told we could check in. The room we selected was small but clean. They had information posted around the room in English and Italian which was very helpful. The people around there were very helpful. I’d stay there again but select a larger room. It was very convenient and the town was walkable .

There was no talk or sign of any kind of breakfast. They clean with vinegar which might be ok for some but not me. We had to leave the windows open and then the noise from the restaurants below was very loud well into the night. Also no shampoo or bar soap for a shower. There was no one who could speak any English. It says check in time is 12 but the unit was not ready and you have to pay the cleaning ladies 2 Euros per person in cash on check out. Don’t bother

The property was clean, safe, and a short distance from the train. You do need to climb a flight of stairs to reach the room and you are asked to pay a tourist tax, 2 euros/person/night (cash). The room is conveniently located to shopping and dining. The room is walkable distance to the cruise ships, approximately 2 miles.
