Friendly staff. Quick check in. Convenient to Cuyahoga Valley NP. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Hotel is dated. Room smelled musty, but they did have a dehumidifier in the room,. Curtains were stained. Tub was yellow and very old.

Reasonably priced. Cookies on arrival. Cheerful front desk staff. Accommodating room with fridge, microwave, & two firm queen beds. Good climate controls. One small sliver of soap. Full breakfast with eggs, waffles, sausage, more. Was eleven minutes from Cuyahoga Valley national Park visitor center and scenic train ride. There was a Bob Evans close by.

The room was not cleaned properly. We found an opened Pepsi bottle on the floor by the window, food on the floor in two places and, worst of all, dirty in the bed which indicates the sheets were not changed. We didn’t realize the sheets were dirty until the morning of checkout or I would have insisted on a new room. My wife suspected the sheets were unchanged but I doubted her. We confirmed it Sunday morning by stripping the bed and found food crumbs at the foot of the bed, My wife said we should complain and ask for a refund but I don’t like doing that so I simply notified the girl at the front desk on my way out.

The bathroom tiles were all loose. The bathtub had clearly sunk by about an inch probably due to rotting floor beneath it. Standing in it was not safe. It felt like you were going to fall to the floor below.

The property front is lovely with the flowers, but the building needs some love. The floors are dirty and the carpets are stained - though the pool looked well maintained. Rooms need general maintenance badly. But primarialy, I did not feel safe. There was literally a man sitting in a white van in the parking lot for the 2 hours I was there. I asked if there had been break-ins and was told yes, but the cameras are working now. I forfeited the $100 and left.
