One of our (2) rooms had cockroaches in it, and more than one. There were many loud guests in the hall ways after midnight which was frustrating. Our bathtub was cracked and shower head poured water like you were filling up a tub and then it didn't drain well. The fan on the hvac unit didn't work so it couldn't drain out the noise of the guests. We put something in freezer and were unable to get it out due to icing up. Elevator in the parking garage didn't work, overall it was a less than average stay as far as room/hotel maintenance and cleanliness but staff was great.

I did not like the limited parking available and having to be charged a ridiculous amount for parking in the garage when you are a guest. Having to pay for breakfast or even coffee is a strong negative for me. I probably will not return for these reasons. I can go to Hampton Inn and receive free coffee 24 hours a day and a complimentary breakfast plus park for free in a large parking lot.

Very disappointed when we arrived on the floor and entered in our room. The room was dark and just dirty. The furniture looked like it may have been wiped down at one time. There was dust along the bottom where furniture was not dusted. The beds had bed skirts that may have never been changed. We didn’t want to touch anything. It’s unfortunate. Never thought the Doubletree would be in such a bad condition. Would not recommend staying.

We chose this hotel as it is in an excellent location. The property itself is a bit shabby in places, the car park lift is out of action and its stairwells are grubby. The rooms are a good size, and everything worked. Also, the windows were really dirty. The breakfast is good and we found the service and drinks and food in the bar area all very good. Although we mentioned it on two occasions, our room was not made up. Would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and ease of parking with the caveat that it is not in such good shape as some others.

Prepaid for parking. Could have parked for free. Carpet in room was nasty had to keep my shoes on. Elevator in parking garage was out of order,that was fun lugging our luggage. Train goes by 4times an hour while your trying to sleep.

This hotel was a little outdated and rooms were small, but otherwise it was good. The location was perfect for what we had planned and the shuttle driver was awesome and it was very convenient. Not the fanciest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but would definitely stay there again.

This was a tired facility that looked terrible. Everything was worn and falling apart. The staff were not accommodating and there was not a room available at noon and a later check out could not be arranged. The breakfast was over priced and tasted horribly. I do not plan on ever going to a Double tree again. The reason I stayed here was because I had a wonderful experience many years ago at the Double Tree in Charleston. I would expect Expedia drop them from their offerings.
